  1. Good vid, good riding but get yourself a helmet! mike.
  2. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID High rating, cheap and affordable and will keep your brains on the inside of your skull Thanks, Mike.
  3. Water bled Hs33s on the back and an avid bb7 with a 200mm rotor on the front.
  4. Sounds pretty damn good, but make sure you revise properly and get good GCSE's 'cause when it comes to results day and youve got shite results you won't feel like doing any of the above. Mike.
  5. a personal favourite if mine. . .
  6. Gusset batchelor tensioner. they kind of lock into place because of the set up. A friend of mine is left footed and has been known to land really harshly on his failed sidehop attempts, straight to the tensioner infact and when hes come to fix a suspected snapped mech he found that it hasnt budged. Thanks mike.
  7. I did'nt tend to sidehop when i rode as a younger child, i then started and seemed to be able to adapt well to the phase's of the move apart from tucking. As i watched footage from a sidehop on a recent local ride, it looks asif i am beginning to tuck but then my legs just seem to not bend anymore. my personal best is 48" and i feel i will not be able to exceed this if i dont learn to tuck soon. I have tryed fish oil tablets as they help to lubricate the joint but it just doesnt seem to to doing the trick. it may just be that i have gone stiff as i have got older but im running out of ideas and excuses for not being able to tuck! any tips or info would be much appreciated. thanks, mike.
  8. I'm sure i saw one of those mansfield scammers on TV not long back, was it Gaz M? and ive seen neil tunnicliffe on tv a few years back, and as trials is a globalised hobby/sport its can't be much longer untill it breaks onto the TV's properly. surly? Thanks mike.
  9. a freind of mine rode one but he said he din't like how its generally ran but, when i had a play it seemed nice and whippy like a 20" should be. I personally have never ridden a Mod as my own and i seemed to be able to get on with it so it can't be all that bad Thanks, Mike.
  10. Do not get a V set up! stick with maggies because if you havent already whipped out, you will with V's and believe me its not pretty. if you havent threaded your calliper from ripping the hosing out just get your hosing cut down and then re-bled. Ill also recomend plazmatic pads on a nice grind, should sort thee out Thanks, mike
  11. Thanks, i do go to the gym 3-4 time per week, could it be that the muscle is tired after the load at the gym?
  12. i'd imagine you would be able to ride one without cracking/snapping it. The cracking of a frame is caused by either mistreating the frame or having a real aggressive animal style. YOU WILL BE FINE! thanks mike.
  13. Degrease it. i took all 99% of the grease out of my hub abou 6 months ago and its still running nicely.
  14. Right heres the crack. I can gap at tops 8ft 6'' flat to flat. take off and preload are fine, however the problem seems to be in the landing/impact because everytime i land i get a straighn in my right 'lat. is this because of my positioning or is it jus pure impact? Someone help! Thanks mike.
