Hey im 17 in a few weeks, and want a car before, so i can go out everyday with my parents and practise :angry: Now my parents are being really good to me, and giving me 1500 towards a car.... i didnt ask for this and have saves 1000 so no sly comments :blink: the garage we use son is selling his polo, its e reg thats 87, its had the head gasket or woteva that is, replaced, and has been looked after, and we could get a free mot with it. they want 500 quid, the insurance is 800, its a 1.3 should i get this then have 1000 towards my next car from my parents. i would proberly keep it for a year, then get somethign much more beasty? surgestions? or should i get a 1.2 punto etc. and keep it for a lil bit longer, thing is i get bored of things quite quick so this may not be a good idea? (Y) Hey sorry for another Mp3 player, but mikes one wasnt usefull enough :P my Minidisc eventually died the other day, and i find it anoying to keep having to change discs so want to get an Mp3 player :) i dont have much music, erm 5gb is well over enough, 1gb would proberly be ok, but 5 would be nice size wise, as small as poss obvisly. need to go in pocket unnoticed if you get me ive been looking at the creative zen mirco i think its called, i like them, look good. are they any others ? as i no you people are very knowledgeable when it comes to finding the best product. the batterty needs to last 8 hours to be honest for when im at work, but definetly no less than 6. money wise, looking to spend around 170 area, but post all options as if its really worth it i could spend more :P Cheers very much :) Dave :)

yeah get a control, because of theslightly higher bb, it will realy make a change :) the pitbulls just abnother long frame :) which i doubt will improve you riding as much as a control, plus, if u like the feel of "shorter" bikes but all the advantages of a longer one then deff go for the control :) Dave :)

i dont think ull mash the front hog rim up, there actualy pretty strong, and look bo!, ive ground the sidewalls on mine, looks more original plus i was using a rim brake lol :) i landed really bad sideways, roundways, unpside downways off about a 3ft wall n it only buckled a bit :- :) plus id like to see you cut the kool hedgehogs out :D Dave :) oh, and with the 321 idea, there really good i drilled a 729 (or woteva the new ones called) then counter sunk the holes, it looks sooo koool, but fook me took me 2 days :) the materials soooo hard :)

Yeah i think it looks kool, when backwheeling :- i ushalyl cover the front brake but dont pull it, also, when i used to blunt i used o pull the front brake just before i went - very bad habbit, to get out of it i didnt cover my front brake :) much better Dave

i wouldnt have thought anyone could put enough tourque on a hope hub and make it break, unless there was a faught. :P i could well be completly wrong herem or i was being lied to, but at the bike show at the chris king stand, i remeber one of the guys saying there hubs can take the power of 40 ferrie's :- Dave :)

jump into the handle bars as much as you can, if you pause a vid of say TRA gapping, just after his taken off, youll notice his bars are right into his body. in my mind theres two main techniques of gapping, if you watch the earlyer echo vids of TRA (where he gaps like 8,000ft to rail), youll see he really lifts the bike up. but if you watch that new video of Vincent Hermance called jmpz, at about 3:38 his does a fu*king crazy gap but dont lift the bike up at all! play it in slow motion and watch his body through out the move :- but we all no its down to .... PRACTISE PRACTISE PRACTISE!!!! :P Dave hope ive helped :P

yeah thought that too, the avid rotor has loads of holes in, i just dont understand. And i would be surpirsed if everyones avid acted like mine(as quickly) because they seem so popular?? i am actualy tempted to get a mono trial disc, but i waste so much money :P oh well :D also, im tnot too fond on the "wide" lever blade, but iguess ill get used to it :S :P

Hey i've had an Avid Mech on the front for quite a while now, i have got used to the fact that i cant go down big hills and expect to stop at the bottom. but over the past few months ive been learning front wheel gaps properly. mostly with crates, i go out my front brakes sweet and dandy, start at about 6ft, moving the crate out, by the time i get to 7ft my front brakes gone W.A.N.K :P this is only after like 4-5 attempts!!!!!! :D ive had to get some new pads (warn down) but this made no difference. so do you get this too? :P ive tried a maggie on the front and a v but just didnt get along with them :P anything i can do ? I realy dont wanna buy a different front brake, but what are the new trial discs like for this ? Thanks Dave :S
