  1. I think the main reason I'm panicking about my exams is because my coursework isn't all to the best standard I know I could have achieved, and my courses are mainly something along the lines of 50% coursework, 50% exams, so I know I've got to do well in my exams to sustain a good grade. I'm also panicking because I need B's at least, to get a place on my chosen college courses. I'm one of these people who looks at things with a really pessimistic view, and so I'm putting more and more pressure on myself. I suppose, yes, I could re-take exams in college, but it's not something I really want to do. I've found using the older revision books helps me alot more than the recently published revision books, since they contain all the topics that I've been told could crop up in the exam, but they're taught with the older methods, of which I seem to be more accustomed to.
  2. Before this goes any furthur... I've just done a scan, using a different programme and found 2 threats and 264 infections... Ouch.
  3. Not being funny... but I don't often visit penis enlargement websites.
  4. I run a virus check every day, thought it woulda picked up!
  5. I'm getting them aswell, disturbing to be honest.
  6. £25 is ridiculous! I'm actually getting more and more scared as the days go by! I'm beginning to really feel the stress, I can't sleep properly, get constant headaches, stomachaches, heartburn, and I think it's all down to the pressure put on by GCSE's. I hate the way teachers constantly bang on about the amount of time you've got left, it's not making me feel more confident about passing, I'm feeling worse!
  7. He's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's See here.
  8. I took my Applied Science GCSE in January, recently got my results back and discovered I'd failed on a DD, when I'm predicted AA. My God, my teacher nearly swung for me.
  9. As all the current year 11's know, in May, our exams begin. Thought I'd open a new topic in which all upcoming GCSE students can discuss subjects, exams and so on so forth. I'm completely crapping myself in all honesty, and could really do with people to talk to about the next few months, and I'm sure some of you feel the same. Discuss!
  10. I'm loving that colour right now, especially compared to the mass of black and white bikes right now! Think it looks lushhh. Edit: What the hell have you done to that cassette?! Edit #2: Ben beat me to it.
  11. You're better off just phoning and asking, stating what train you'll be travelling on. When travelling from Stoke - Winchester on a Cross Country Train it was 5:30am, and the desk wasn't open, meaning we were unable to book a bike reservation, and so we chanced it, only to be approached by the real moody train manager (called Olga, how funny.) who threw us off at Stafford. We had to book a reservation at Stafford, piss about for about an hour and a half waiting for another train. On southern services, like South West Trains, I've never seen a problem or seen anyone have to present the papers showing a bike reservation was made. Your best bet is just to book a reservation to be honest...
  12. Terry Pratchett's 'Equal Rites' is one of the most amazing books I've ever read, his skill at writing is absolutely incredible. I've read this book over and over. I've been reading Terry Pratchett's books since I was about 10, and I'll still claim to be unable to put his books down. Good read.
  13. Even if the retailers ARE lowering their RRP's the consumer is going to still have trouble paying the amount requested due to the current economic situation. If a frame's price was lowered by 20% from £100 to £80, that's still £80 that the consumer has to fork out to pay for the frame. Myself and my family are struggling to afford the most basic living things right now, and I know that even if a retailer knocked £20 off a frame, I still wouldn't be able to afford it. Sure, some people out there are lucky enough to be able to afford a frame, and will be more at ease knowing they can pay less for a frame, but others can't, even with a slight deduction. Plus, I think the retailers are going to have to consider to what extent knocking a percentage of the price off goods will do to their business. Sure, more items might sell, but not much of a profit will have been gained considering the drop in prices. I'm making no sense, so I'm going to stop typing.
  14. The word 'Capitol' was also used in the wrong context. It should have been 'Capital'. I'm sorry, I just really felt the need to point that out. Edit: On the subject of punctuation and spelling I realised I missed the full stop off the end of the first sentance...
  15. Alot of 'newbee's' go for T-Pro's, there's probably a few for sale in the For Sale sub-section, but you're unable to post in these until you're validated; to get validated make sure you use capital letters, proper punctuation and spelling. Edit: If you fancy buying brand new then you can find the Onza models as full bikes here.
  16. What did you make in the end?
  17. Victoria Sponge? With jam and cream in the middle?
  18. It really isn't the same without eggs! EDIT: Joker, any idea what cake it is you actually want to make?
  19. I just got JT!'d. You knew what I meant. It just wouldn't work!
  20. Making icing without egg whites would be like you riding a bike without a frame.
