I swear I was a member of this when I was about 10. Habbo or something or the sort?

I had a dream that JT! text me asking me how to figure out the volume of water in a fish tank. Seriously considering asking my psych about that one...

Thanks for sharing that

Definitely. I love being rebellious.

New saddle and stem yay! Changed my stem from 100 to 65 (bargainous £13.80!) and the result is no horrible shoulder pain. Don't know how the saddle fairs yet but we'll see in a bit. Damn my wide sit bones. Got a Y-6LP 8700 right hand adjustment block (8 degree) and Y-6LP 87010 left hand adjustment block (8 degree) because I've got tiny hands and attempting to pull the brakes nearly snapped my fingers too many times.

MrLynch, I would like to suggest that you replace your proposed pole of age with a pole of awesome {see: fig 1}. Members of www.trials-forum.co.uk can self-measure their levels of awesome and label themselves on the pole. I feel this would be both more entertaining and interesting than your pole of age. Regards, Hannah Fig 1:

Bumping this topic. TL;DR: Crazy dream about cake and heavy membranes, apparently. Had a dream I was sat in the corner of a gazebo trying to set fire to a cake with a lighter the other night. It wasn't really melting, just kind of hardening and steaming. My old psychologist came over and I tried to hide the cake but she saw it and screamed "WHY ARE YOU BURNING MY PRECIOUS RON'S CAKE?!" I picked it up, ran out of the gazebo and tried to throw it over a tree. Heard little sister shout "IT WON'T GO OVER THE TREE, THE MEMBRANE IS TOO HEAVY!" (I obviously did well in Science...) I started running with this half burnt cake and I'm trying to crush it into crumbs but because it's melted it's rock hard and won't crumble. Psychiatrist is running behind me screaming something about Ron and cake. Woke up like ha, what the f**k did I just dream about. Also had a dream last night about some Muslims trapping me and hundred of other people in a warehouse and demanding money. Don't remember much but someone saying "Let them turn off the lights and confine us to darkness like we did to them."

My first thought on Shutter Island was "Good Lord, Leonardo DiCaprio's got fat." Second thought was "I'll keep the movie on, it's kind of enjoyable." My third thought was probably something about that evenings dinner or why my tea tasted like cats piss. Final thought was "What the f**k is this f**king shit. I have no idea what just happened."

Need Some Help Redesigning My Room

Well, someone had to do it. -
I need to stop watching Family Guy. Immediate thought after reading this post was "You hear that Chris? This guy's got a monkey scrotum and he's bragging about it!"

Picked up an 09 Boardman Comp today. This should be fun! Need to get a slightly shorter stem on her but other than that she's ready to ride now Edit: I've also discovered a huge need for a proper ladies saddle. Ouch.

Aah, I wish I could rep on mobile TF.

Very pretty indeed! P.S. Glad you're okay.

Fair enough. It just seemed that every module we ever studied never actually allowed us to express our individuality in work. The only piece I can recall doing was explaining how I felt when I listened to a certain song through art. I got to pick the song and I chose Brian Eno - An Ending. I did a piece I was pretty chuffed with (no arrows, squiggles or funny men with moustaches and wings!) and was told by my teacher that it wasn't right and to alter parts of it. When I refused she 'took it in for marking' and it was returned to me a completely unrecognisable piece. Just my experience I guess.

I've looked at illustrating and the likes of mostly. I only scraped a pass in my art GCSE because I didn't want to create art like Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein. I understand that it can be beneficial to compare your own work to other people's work and I'm sure you can pick up lots of skills based from other people's art but I never actually got the chance to do work in my own way without the influence of others artists. Same goes for lots of my friends who chose to study art / art related courses at college.

That's the one reason I couldn't get a job in design / arty farty related. I can't sit there for a few years comparing my work to other people's work and doing work in the style of someone else blah blah blah all for the sake of an A level or degree.

I refuse to believe that was a frape.
