Hey, was a good day from what I saw, i was really outclassed riding wise, but i did get a nice t-shirt hehe... I was being abit unsociable and wandering around like a bit of a lemon haha. :) Thanks everybody who organised it, it was grand.

You need to cut down the steerer tube on the forks (the stem as you said) down to a level similar to that of your old T-Pro forks, then use spacers to fit. Use a hacksaw, put some tape round to get a straight edge (not 100% crucial,) and go easy, dont cut 'em too short.

Mike, have a look on the net for buckingham insurence brokers, there what everyone has at school, as well as being local there very cheap.

Yea true, but theres a good car garage, sure they have bearings in. Buckingham has 2 bike shops, numerous car garages, a hardwear store and a builders merchent.. Bicester has 2 bike shops, and a halfords, and loads of engineering places.. (Y)

morning, yes I know lots of 'good riders' have em, and i'm just copying em, but there nice helmets haha. I need one by friday really, any ideas where I can get one before I start ringing round everywhere? Custom Riders sell the classic ones, but the lasek ones are nicer. anybody know? cheers rich

I have both, one very old XTR lever from ebay and its a million times better than the SD7 thats fairly new. Nicer feel, more responsive, stiffer, smoother, no wobble, but im not 100% sure on the rounded feel but I'll get used to it.
