  1. Tring just out Aylesbury ye mate? I live about 10 miles from aylesbury, ride there some weekends. Theres a guy known as Jon who lives pretty near to tring, can't remember where, that rides streety trials. And theres plenty more riders down south bucks way. Rich.

  3. What frame do you have? I have a selle italia nitrox on my ashton 24, put it on an echo pure too, cant get much slimmer than that, looks loke a forking dildo as it is..

  8. Theres your problem, get some fairy liquid on it and give everything a really good clean with a good brush/scouring pad. As for V brakes, I ran Plaz CRV pads for ages and they were faultless.

  15. I got my ashton 24 welded up, cost me a tenner with mates rates kinda thing. Made an open ended guessetm and prepped the areas of paint, but it cracked about a month later about an inch away, worth it though. I'd say get the entire are gusseted and welded up in one go, rather than constantly getting bits tackedon here and there.

  18. Spinny gears rule, I run 20/18 usually on 24", about 20/19 on 26", much better for everything, I'm stuck with 20/16 and I don't like it, ok for rolling stuff but I can't gap. Spinny is goooood.
  19. Leeson will do you Pashleys with mounts moved for 24" wheels, or normal 400mm forks with a disk will be fiine.

I've got a 3510i I think that has taken a right hammering, but I think its on the way out, im constantly dropping, falling, hitting it with bars, getting it wet, dropped it out of the bathroom window the other day by accident and its still kinda working, bit slow and the buttons are a bit unresponsive and need a good push, but ye still working.
  22. I cut out a piece of wood to fit by bb shell and bolted in on as a bash when I had a 32t chainring, worked a treat.
  23. Fairly liquid has salt in aha so err no dont use it. Just tighten the cones up it may help.
  24. I thought you were about 16 till a month or so ago Martin so I wouldnt worry aha.
