I got my frame welded up and it lasted. It snaped in the end but at a completly different place, there will be somewhere in aylesbury that will do it, I got mine done at a place called Wescott just out of aylesbury.

Tioga Steve, I've had one a few months, and its beast, I even built it and its still good, 600g, get one. Grind the lip off carefully and theres just as much room for pads as any other rim, would look pimp on your giant, esp if you still have that tioga stripey seat.

Sounds realy crap for shoes that are designed for riding, I've had a pair of globes for almost a year, wear them everyday and there still ok, bit shabby but the soles still grip, I bought some Orchids but i'm not so keen as they seem mega fat and wide which I hate. Go Globes.
