  1. Damn, you beat me to it! I am getting very annoyed by people saying they wear halmets when most people don't and don't have a go at me if you are one of the people that do but when out riding I have never ridden trials with another person who was wearing a helmet! ('BREATHE', continue rant in head)
  2. Rock blues or spanish fly plaz pads.
  3. I so not know anyone that has had problems with oldstyle maggies except the tpa.
  4. I have a second hand pre 04 maggie and it still works fine with no leaks!
  5. They are quite good, or I like them atleast. Very good as a starter bike.
  6. Never ride my bike wthout a helmet on, I like being a genius too much to damage my poor oversized brain! For those of you that don't speak tard I think that he meant "I don't wear a helmet but it is your decision really, however I have been stopped by the police once or twice for not wearing one". See, was that so hard?
  7. It doesn't matter, it will break, there is no question about it.
  8. For anyone else with the same problem, grab the chain either side of the link and flex back and forth until it loosens up. Another way (the better way) is to get a small allen key (around a 4mm) inside the stiff link and us that to flex it, works amazingly.

  10. Absolutely pissing it down! Works great. Sorry my black pads didn't work in any weather.
  11. a 1 inch cube will last at least a good few months if you do not over use it.
  12. Probably the comp as you will get a lower price but it is not really going to make a huge difference. What ne do you prefer?
  13. Front or rear? I would not put a rear deng hub on my bike even if I was on their sponsor list.
  14. I use rock blues with a sharp grind and a small bit of tar and it works fine in the wet, enough bite and hold to land on a rail, but in the dry it is amazing, especially after the tar has been spread round by the rain.
  15. I get exactly the same thing. You can minimise it by warming up and stretching properly, but if you find what it actually is let me know.
  16. Allow me to answer: Get The HS33!!!
  17. Really just wondering what people like. I tend to use a pisspot for most riding I do and an XC lid for trials so that I don't overheat.
  18. The only people that judge you are the moderators when you type a post like this.
  19. I have to point ou that the system that the hammerschmidt uses would be OK when in trials gearing, but when in faster gearing there would be a substanial power loss, so although it would be faster to get from point to point it would not be the 36:17 that someone said, I reckon it would be more like a mid range street geaing (such as 32:16) when the power is drained. I may be wrong this is just what I have heard. Also in response to what a lot of people have said I see no reason why this would not handle the abuse of trials if it is well built and for £400 it should be. I think though that I will wait a couple of years until that have some of a better design at a lower price (if the idea takes off that is).
  20. I don't fit into any of those categories and neither do any of the people I normally ride with. Where do jeans or shorts and a t-shirt fit in.
  21. Spray a load of degreaser in the grip wipe the excess out, slide it on and leave for a minute to set.
