  1. Does any one have a spare freewheel I can borrow for tommorow? My try-all just exploded and I am hoping my new one comes before I leave, but if not I am running a diamond back freewheel with like no engagements.
  2. Jesus, how much power do you need?
  3. Graeme from watford, I ride with him all the time, same level different style, we just push each other. Also hoots from Waterloo evans for showing me loads about contol and technique.
  4. I will and so will Graeme if he comes!
  5. are you still riding rago muffin?
  6. we migh also have Graeme on tuesday depending on whether he can get off work.
  7. Spanish fly plaz. pads. They are cheap and work really well!
  8. I am riding friday night to sunday night with only a few hours sleep each day, do you think I will have enought energy?

    New Rotor

Yeah I was thinking for my BB7. Will the pads get enough contact area? I am either getting that or this. The alligator is a lot like the gusset r series rotor which I have on my mountain bike.
  10. There is gravity, just a lot less, for example if you could sidehop 1m normally you could side hop around 6m on the moon, however it will be a lot slower so you could get your balance better on landing.
  11. Of course, meet at southbanks at 10:30

    New Rotor

    Would these be any good?
  13. Sort of, haven't been down in a while, but my mum should know.
  14. Wish I had had pro help when I started. For that matter, I still wish I had pro help.
  15. Got a lot of family down your neck of the woods and I have been aching to see what the street riding is like down there. As for coming down, my mum is driving me and then going to see my cousin! Any one want to PM me there number so I know where to meet, etc... I say peter pan's playground (I know it is not called that anymore) just because it is easy for me to find!
  16. My biggest drop is only about 5 foot, but I am going to try around a 7-8 foot in the next week (new one just built near me). My biggest drop gap is only the stairs at southbanks skatepark, so not huge but I need to find something a bit bigger. I am thinking of trying a drop gap about 5foot drop with 4 foot gap onto a rail, then drop into the road, but I have to wait until it is bone dry and there are no cars around! I'll still probably kill myself.
  17. come on tuesday I want someone to show me around!
  18. I have a 24/7 holroyd and my friend has a zoo pitbul, which are almost the same geo. My back wheel balance is generally very good, it just seems a lot easier on the zoo.
  19. My frame feels alright on the back wheel but I can balance on my friends for so much longer. Do you think having a lower bb will help with rear wheel balance or is it mostly the weight balance of the frame. So you know I am looking for a new frame and I want to know what geometries work well. I will be able to ride anything but I want something that balances really easily on the back wheel, at the moment I am thinking of an Onza Limey.
  20. As I said in the other thread, I will be there!
  21. There are 2 sizes of BMX thread, the smaller works with 13t or 14t and the larger work with special 14t and larger. Normal 135mm hubs with a shimano type freehub body (normal type) use sprockets with the smallest size 12t, Bmx type drivers go as small as 9t (I have heard that some even go to 8t). 14t freewheels for the larger thread are sh*te, get a normal hub and use a small, wide based sprocket!
  22. If you do it on tuesday then I will come!
