Are you going to be using it as a trials bike as well? If not go for 32:16 or faster, if you are doing trials as well you would be best of with a 32t chainring and gears!

For MTB dirt jumping the normal ration is 2:1 so the norm is 32:16, I personally think that is still a bit light and use somewhere between 36:16 and 36:12 depending on the run in. 22t front chainring will be sh*t unless you are riding jumps that have a roll in so require no pedalling in which case gearing doesn't really matter.

As it turns out there is but they are shit and expensive and your forks still need a canti-mount. If you want to go disc just get a new set of forks!

You can use most types of oil. Citreon brake fluid (the old mineral oil one) is the same as magura blood but a different colour, I use cooking oil but this is a bit thick, someone suggested baby oil so I will try this. And no do not bleed deng brakes with water they will leak, just use oil. P.S. why can no one in this thread spell correctly or use grammar?

Not all pads are glued in. I am pretty sure that phat pads don't need boiling or glue.

Fire eye are not really trials products but I have used a few things from them and they make ultra strong things, try them they should be fine.
