  1. Pussy! I rode last friday, saturday and sunday, did me no harm!
  2. Measure that, it has to be like 8cm at most, I could nail that.
  3. Or ask them if they will do it for you if you are unsure, I never asked anyone to pay when I did it for them!
  4. No, it is just bad spelling, slang is in affect the use of colloquial terminology!
  5. The rockshox warranty is shocking, my Argyles broke and first they took two months to get back to me to say they would not warranty them. That is because apparently they are not meant for dirt jumping, even though they are dj forks and I was using them for 4x. The time delay is even worse seeing as they are right round the corner from me and go the warranty guy is a friend of most of the people from the shop who sent them back to him.
  6. I was lucky, I did something like this, and I could see my knee cap, but luckily it did not get punctured. All I needed was four hours sitting holding my knee together and then 7/8 stitches and I was fine. A friend of mine slipped the pedals on his trials bike and needed 18 stitches in his shin, came straight out of the hospital and carried on riding. Legend!
  7. I have two questions for you, first is do you get taught English at school? And second, if the answer to part 1 was yes, do you ever expect anyone to validate you when you post like this? On another note, don't go for the diamondback, go for an onza!
  8. I broke two frames, a front hub and a chain in three days. Broke a mech and a chain guide on the same day in different incidents. Broke a chain 6 times in one day (really should have been replaced after the first snap, but I was not near a bike shop.
  9. I have never had problems with selectbikes, i don't know about other people. Though I have to say, why not just use tarty, they are the cheapest shop and by far the best shop i have ever used for anything! (Keep up the good work lads). On another note, supercycles are quite good if you phone them up but there website sucks!
  10. Joel Bennett and Adam Storey: http://www.youtube.com/user/justboy24#p/u/3/ZLj9LVWLnqM
  11. Just one or two bad reviews should be enough to put you off, even with loads of good ones, but do a search and see the hundreds of bad reviews and be sure they are crap. If you choose to buy from them that is your choice and I wish you luck, but please don't start another topic moaning when it all goes wrong!
  12. Not true, the old bullit had a habit of cracking at the pivot.
  13. On the same note, if yours brakes rub badly you...do nothing!
  14. On my trials bike around 20-25psi front and rear. On my street trials bike around 40-80psi front and rear (not sure exactly it gets changed quite a lot depending on who I get to pump up my tires )
  15. .voc is a different format to .mpg designed to work specifically on dvd players. It is easily convertible if you have the right program (pretty sure vlc works with that format, if not super will and both programs are free). What I suggest you do in future though, is set the camera so it records to an easily editable file type such as VR and then import it using the software provided with the camera or just change the file to .mpg as VR is a compatible file for this transformation.
  16. Just one thing, never use WD-40 as a lubricant. Use GT85 or chain lube.

    Chains

I used a 'Taya chrome BMX' chain once as I had no money to get a better chain at the time but I discovered they are fantastic and now have them on all of my bikes. Never had a single problem with one!
  18. I use a panasonic one. They are fantastic but I have the same problem as you when I put the disc straight into the computer (though, I often don't finalise it before I do. What you can do Is import the file like said, or copy the file of the disc and use VLC to convert it to another file type. That should solve your problem.
  19. 1100, +10, 380, 72o they feel so long when riding, I really wanna change mine!
  20. Voted. Have to say though a frame where you don't need to disconnect the chain seems like a bad idea that will end up breaking.
  21. what sort of hub is it. If it has a freehub and no disk then take the freehub out and remove the washer that goes under the bolt that holds it on. The freehub will over tighten itself and seize up, hey presto.
