  1. Give this place a go, I had a quick search but "John Smith" didn't turn up much although a guy called "John Waite" did a song called "any time". Cr3ation music search
  2. Usually res is restricted by the GFX card or the Monitor. What resolution have you got running at the moment and what are you aiming for?
  3. Rubbish New York, Late night, 50mm @ f/2.2 ~ ISO400.
  4. Sigma DG500 super is a great choice cheap here too
  5. Mike has far too much nice kit! as do some of the rest of you.. Joe! as for me.. Canon 350D with battery grip Sigma 10-20mm f/4.0-f/5.6 Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 (thanks for the recommendation Mike, it's great!) Canon 50mm f/1.8 Tamron 70-300mm f/4.0-F/5.6 Sigma DG500 Flash and canon ETTL cord LowPro Mini Trekker AW reeeeeaaaaallllly need a decent tripod now. Any recommendations? stable but portable.
  6. Superb animation, great work. Story is a little weird but works!
  7. That appears to be your wireless connection to the router/hub/modem your house is using rather than the connection to the internet. If that is the case it means roughly nout. For example see attached image.... bearing in mind my connection is BT 2mb (not bothered upgrading yet)
  8. Superb pictures Joe, clear crisp and generally ace. Long lens trials shots . What lens are you using?
  9. nice shots Mitch, I think i'd like to see the rider lit up a little more in the BMX shots but they look good, and nice backdrops too, sunset looks good. nice work
  10. really liked that Andy, ace track and the guys riding was nice to watch. good work!
  11. I have a Wacom Volito2 the little cheapish one. They are excellent, I use mine in Photoshop for photo editing a fair bit as I find it nice using a pen for long periods rather than a mouse. Would be nicer if I could have got a bigger one but it's fine for my use. Also works well for iSketch.....
  12. Fantastic photos as per usual Mike!
  13. It wouldn't be Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd would it? MP3 here: .mp3
  14. if it is in fact the one in that thread then it's this you're looking for i'd guess hope that's right.
  15. some real nice shots Dave, nice work!
  16. I think that's Onzaboymark, partly included due to his interesting pose
  17. Thanks for the replies guys Most of the shots are with my Sigma 10-20mm and a few are with Chris' 17-40mm f/4L (mmmmmmm yea ) Thanks Mike . constructive criticism always welcome! I had a look at work and they don't look quite right. Need to find some calibration software i think. There is definatly too much dead space in some, I was very wary of avoiding the distortion caused by my Sigma so avoided filling the frame completely, probably should have cropped a few down to help a bit!. I ordered the Tamron 17-50 in the end too so will be nice to have a play with that.
  18. Russell Square thanks for the warning Oli!
  19. Hope you guys enjoy, I know Chris and Mike took a fair few too so hopefully they'll put some up at some point Thanks for the loan of the lens Chris, I want an L series now! Sorry for thieving your flash Mike! As allways larger versions available on my Flickr here Dan
