  1. If you google the process that's running it'll tell you what it is. It's great for finding stuff that shouldn't be there. Tells you if it's spyware/adware virus etc.
  2. Set aside a few hours to do it in! Getting all the updates from windows can take a while. In the past i've gone through my program files lisiting programs I want to keep/reinstall. Get a second hard drive/partition and store all the data you want to keep (photos etc). Install your antivirus before connecting to the net if possible, if not, do it asap! Get all you disks etc ready before commencing so you don't find halfway that you can't install your sound driver or something . It'll make a massive difference if it's been a while on the same install. Double check you have nothing stored that you'll remove and never be able to recover/find again. It's not a good feeling Hope that's of some use.
  3. So mentioning that i'd heard trillian was a good alternative was "useless" despite you then backing that up by supporting Trillian as an option. Also he asked is there are any alternatives and I showed him, yes there are and they are available easily with a quick Google search.
  4. Try this, should be a useable one... this one for example
  5. try this... it was a real strain moving my mouse to the search bar and typing so you best appreciate it. I hear Trillian is good, think I may have used it in the past too.
  6. god it's hard to pick one, first thing that comes to mind is... Eagles - Hotel California and from the person sitting next to me.... Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
  7. When she's looking under the bonnet in transformers........ oh god yes oh and curvy more than skinny
  8. Don't get too drunk and make an arse of yourself . Dress nice, shower, smell good and be chatty and friendly. DO NOT let yourself feel jealous or pissy about everything that has happened. Do that in your own time. Don't walk out of the party if something happens you don't like, deal with it later. Be there but don't be in her face all the time. There are no "tricks"* but just don't make her dislike you and see what happens. *discounting the old drug her and plug her route
  9. My eyes blink at sudden loud noises.. clapping nearby, close fireworks, gun shots etc. I can't stop it no matter how hard I try.
  10. it's a great shot Mike and sounds like a hell of a lot of effort went into it! nerds ***

  12. Some excellent shots submitted! Landscapes are always hard to choose.
  13. I don't think it should. It's not a best of the internet "here's a funny video" type post it's a genuinely amazing true story about this guy and what he does for his kid, maybe a few people will see it and feel inspired.
  14. Also me and Andy NBR both had 7 votes but he didn't get any points. Surely he should be joint 5th with me? Maybe have Jon and Tom joint 3rd and move people up the standings? Sorry to pick it apart, good on you for getting round 2up and running. I'll get out and start snapping, try and get something new for this one.
  15. Nice vid Rich, very watchable and some nice moves! the bike looks ace too!

  18. I think you're a little confused, Oli and derf aren't saying they're going to get one they're merely saying "UV reflective" and "glow in the dark" are not the same thing. Not entirely sure why that implies they have tattoos of exs/lyrics etc on them either?
  19. Thanks guys & others who went my way I agree with Rob about going out and taking a new shot for the next one though.
  20. you can get f/2.8 but add about £2/300 to the price for the privilege!
