Most current graphics cards will have the dual monitor capability. Mine is about 3 years old now. I run an old 15" CRT and a 15" LG tft which cost me 109.99 and is so far (about 4 months) working out really nicely 16ms response but only 1024x768 max res. Though thats plenty on a 15" monitor. Don't worry too much about getting a huge main screen, up to you obviously but i find my 2 15s work well for everything and give me a 2048x768 usable screen. I would prefer 17s but i'm happy and it was a cheap set up. The software will come with the GFX card though windows has dual capability anyway. If you do go dual get ultramon (www.ultramon.com). Really useful tool. I love having dual, some people don't see the point or dislike using it and some really like it. It's worth trying if your getting a new monitor and if you don't like it just get rid of the old one. Hope thats helpful Dan This is my set up.....

That guy was an arse. If him and the hands and feet guy hadn't been there it would have been the same trial but with more time spent setting it up rather than them arguing with us riders over where all the stuff should go. If he's complaining about taking time off work unpaid. What those like you and tic who were there all 2 days. Also all the other riders who were there all sat and all sunday who helped out because it was for a good cause and because it was a good experiance and great fun. Mitch's dad who was there sat and sun with spending time making things safer and better to ride. Using his own tools and screws. That makes me want to swear a lot. Dan

Baps.... Big Baps  Here we go. Taken by me out of a moving car (hence the dodgy angle and almost missing the sign) in Torquay. Dan

I have a mini PS2 Its very small, I havn't had any problems with it, doesn't over heat not noisy at all. In fact quieter because there is no need to cool the power adapter which is seperate like old SNES's etc. If thats what she wants then i would say the small one. Also if the big one is just old stock the smalls are slightly quicker and dont have as many problems with loading. Especially with games like GTA San Andreas. Dan

Generally a hub skips when the pawl hasn't engaged properly (obviously) but when doing trials we usually reset our pedals and then engage the pawls before putting any real power through the hub. When riding along the engagement points are be constantly moving so when you go to pedal to increase speed one or all of the pawls may not be fully engaged when power is put through the hub. This cause the pawls to miss engage and slip. My hope will skip now and then whilst riding along but rarely if ever while doing "trials" on it. hope that made sense.... Dan Oh and to the thread starter. Don't start having a go at people. The thread should have been a warning about your experiance with the GT hubs and the fact CRC are now using them for a "trials" wheel. Not that they are going to kill you which lets face it, is pretty unlikely. Thats the claim YOU made, none of us changed what you said.

I would say Lance Armstrong is someone I admire. For his determination to beat cancer and his ability to win Le Tour 7 times. Fully dedicated to his cause and got exactly what he wanted through it. Dan

Sometimes too many effects will ruin videos. Windows mm is very good to start testing your skills with editing. I have seen lots of videos made in mm that are very good. Clever editing and filming is much better than lots of fancy effects. Saying that, it is limited but its free too and very few editing programs are free or cheap with lots of great effects. If you want to spend the money or ahem *aquire* a copy of a program Adobe Premier is widely used and very good and also final cut is supposed to be good too. Both you will need to spend a bit of time learning how to use well before you even make your first movie. Dan

Still got the N64 and Snes. Soo good, all gameplay little graphics. Best game ever - Goldeneye. Perfect Dark was good but lost the essance of the game somehow. Oh and man with the golden gun mode with 4 people was fookin superb (Y). F-Zero games are just brilliant too. Had the original on the snes and the version on the 64 with the random track generator! Zelda was awesome too it was just soo huge and had most of our year at school immersed in it for months. there is some much more (all the marios including mario kart) Dan

First i do speed. I dont think its big or clever and i dont do it to prove anything or prove my car can. I think people who speed in towns and built up areas are completely irresponsible and i will try my best to aoid speeding anywhere i think people are likely to be stepping out on to the road. I will speed on dual carriage ways with barriers and on motorways and also on most national speed limit roads. Speeding is wrong and against the law and as such there is no way you can justify doing it, no matter what your diriving and where your driving. Its simply wrong. Even very good drivers shouldn't speed on public roads there is no justification! Dan
