Trials was about getting from one end of a section to another by any means. It evolved into what it is today by people wanting more out of their riding. The more people that ride the more ideas will come and the more varied "trials" will become. As far as i can tell it should be about a person riding their bike how they want, to gain whatever they want to out of it. If a rider sees someone riding and they like the style then they will copy it, thats how trials spreads. We're all copying someones style, whether the influence is entirely trials or whether it's gleamed from other types of riding like BMX. We all call ourselves trials riders because the basic ideas behind trials are still in all of our riding. We are trying to get around/over/under/across an obstacle that's in our way. NO MATTER HOW WE DO IT. Dan edit: Oh and I love Nicks DVD it's utterly superb, he should be extremely proud of what he has done.

Use the Office picture manager to resize the image if you dont have something like Photoshop. Open the photo go to Picture>resize and 800X600 should be fine. Dan

The Weatherman Billed as comedy/drama http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384680/ The trailers looked good. The film was tripe. I have never wanted to walk out of the cinema or stop a film because it was bad but this just never went anywhere. Me and my girlfriend went to see it expecting it to be a bit of a laugh and quite a good film with Cage and Caine in it. It was depressing, long winded and there was no real story. By the end nothing had actually moved along except Michael Caine had died which sucks and Nicholas Cages character was earning some ridiculous wage. A poor excuse for a film, i was glad when it ended. Dan

have you actually uninstalled the old driver/program information completely? If it's trying to install to a folder with the same info it isn't going to like it. Failing that: http://www.emprex.com/03_support_01.php?gr...d={PG_DOWNLOAD} also from another site with the same error message. Q: I tried to install your program and I get the error message: Cannot Install: SETUP or INSTALL program filename contains folder information. Use Actions/CheckOut instead. A: You could be trying to install the application from with in WinZip. You will need to first uncompress the application first to your hard drive then run the SetUp.exe file to install. Dan

They arn't great but not bad either. What Rob P has said is all good stuff. It sounds like you're fairly new to photoshop so you will learn. Being accurate with things like cutting out is a big thing. Using "add to" and "remove from" with the lasso is extremely useful. Try and make transitions as seamless as possible using blending and smudging (not too much though or it will look shite and obvious). Try lots of techniques and look through lots of tutorials they all have something useful to add to your knowledge base. For most tutorials a quick google is what you want. This one got me started on car modding and i found some of it very useful. http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm Not one of my best efforts but it was to hand. Dan

Why Do Most People Get Completely Leathered On The Weekend?
Dan Campbell replied to Will Arnold's topic in Chit Chat
Agreed I can't see the point of going out to get drunk now, it's expensive and makes you feel like shit the next day. If i go out saturday and get wrecked i basically loose the whole of sunday to feeling like shit - for no good reason. I genuinely like drinking lager for the taste, so going to the pub for a few pints and a good laugh is my idea of a fun night out. If people want to get drunk around me i'm all for it (it's usually amusing) as long as they leave me to drink how I want to. Dan -
Simply Wow This is the sort of thing that makes me want to start doing some xc/freeride. Awsome camera work. Dan

I havn't read all of the thread as it's obvious what most of it's about. I have used hope since my first decent wheelbuild about 5 and a half years ago. I used one XC ti freehub body for about 4.5 years and it was perfect, I replaced 2 springs. Eventually the ratchet thread striped, I bought a new one as the old one was very old and I felt it deserved retirement. I learnt with it and improved with it so it's taken a lot of abuse. I bought another XC. Hopes seem to suit me and the way I ride. I know a mate of mine who has had 2 hubs 2 axels and numerous springs in about 3/4 years. Same hubs different riders. I know riders who swear by kings and have never ever ever had a problem with them. I also know people who have had lots of problems with them. Same hubs different riders What i'm getting at is...... DIFFERENT HUBS SUIT DIFFERENT RIDERS AND DIFFERENT STYLES OF RIDING. If you use a hope and don't get on with it, try a profile a king or whatever. If you get a king and dont get on with it get a hope a profile or whatever etc. Just try different hubs, find your perfect partner. Dan

You spelt "official" wrong Christopher. And in relation to the thread. It looks ok. I think I actually prefer the non blurred version. If the blurring didn't include the rider as well I think I would like it more. Dan

Download a video converter. Then you can put all your normal vids on there. www.download.com Dan

Superb vid Rich, Music was a little frantic for my liking but didn't stop me enjoying the riding in the slightest. Editing was great and the little advert at the end was pretty cool. Superb Dan
