They are the T-Bird cranks. 24 tooth if I remember rightly. The grinding problem sounds like the bottom bracket might be on the way out. Is it on the down stroke when pedalling??

Just back in Ireland. Had an awesome time lads! Some absolutely beasty riding! Cheers to Rob and Jambo for putting us up on Friday night! Also thanks to Jambo for the headache on Saturday morning! Hope Stirling was good. The weather was shit in Edinburgh. Went to Garibaldys Saturday night in Edinburgh. Was a good laugh. Didn't get much riding done in Edinburgh as my rear hub decided to shit itself! I doubt there is one bearing left in it! Thanks again lads for the weekend! Some cool lines by all. It was really good to meet ye and if ye are ever in Ireland, let me know. Cheers, Steve

Goodbye forever- Alkaline Trio. Going to see them tomorrow night!

F**k yeah! We're still on for it! I think the plan is Glasgow on Saturday and Stirling on Sunday. Myself and my mate won't be able to make it to Stirling Sunday. So if there is anyone about in Edinburgh Sunday or Monday, give me a PM! Is it still cool to crash at yours on Friday night Rob?? Cheers, Steve

There would have to be two little blocks of aluminum brazed on also the the holes for the threaded bolts drilled in them. (two for each side). You then braze on the "braze mounts." These really only accept the magura mounts and keep them off the frame. To be honest it's a fair bit of hassle to use braze on mounts.

They are four bolt mounts that you braze onto a frame/forks that do not have four bolt mounts. Steve

Mineral Oil To Water Bleed
I-LikeMatchesDerFun replied to I-LikeMatchesDerFun's topic in Trials Chat
Cheers for the replies. Hmmm, I might go for water as it's free and readily available. How difficult is it to go from an oil bleed to water bleed? What's the best way to get all the oil out? Undo bleed bolts and attach bike pump at slaves and let the air pump it out??? Cheers, Steve -

Right, I need to bleed my brakes and I am using oil. I can't be bothered to order Magura Blood from the UK so I'm wondering what are the alternative oils. What brands of mineral oil are there? Has anyone tried paraffin oil? I've also heard that LHM oil is good. Any help appreciated. Cheers, Steve EDIT Now going to try a water bleed

Irish Tricolour does it for me! The two different colours for "Technical" and "Science" stand out more and are easy to read IMO. You need something easily read so even if people only glance at it, they will know what it says. My penny's worth anyway. Steve

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
I-LikeMatchesDerFun replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
Something similar when me and my ex broke up. We did stay mates, and do chat now and again. Though, her being in Mexico for the last 6 months didn’t help things…. On topic, basicly Jon, if she texts, reply. But I’m not going to say whether you initiate the texting. It sounds like you want her back, as I did with me ex. If ye can still stay mates that’s good, if it goes back to old times, It’s a bonus! See how it goes. Steve -
Right, I'm looking to improve my upper body strength and maybe bulk up a little bit as well. I’m 5’9” and weigh just over eleven stone (if that helps). I play Gaelic Hurling and do trials. Hurling training twice a week (hour and a half to two hours) and a match every ten days. Trials probably two or three times a week depending on weather and work. Probably going to start this new regime when I go back to uni. Any tips on what I can do to improve upper body and general muscle mass? Tips on gym routines and diet etc would be much appreciated! Cheers, Steve
