  1. hmmm i must agree with skill. though i would agree hoping up a brick wall isn't just going to be down to skill you need the strength but otherwise a lot of the work is down to skill.....and practice remember
  2. lol don't worry mate i know. pedals i am looking at as we speak, tyres i am looking at as we speak, new brakes/brake pads i am looking at as we speak. and those are the first things i am ordering once i have got hold of the money sooo although there is a lot of talk about color i am ordering items such as the above first.
  3. lol sooooo should i go with the fluorescent colors then i was thinking of spraying it with a metallic red color then a coat of lacquer on top make it shine, the rims white, the spokes black or silver, the handle bars possibly white?
  4. ahhhhhh dont give me anymore choices urmmm yehhh i mean blue does look sweet with a bit of white but just to keep a bit of the bike saracen i think i wont to stick with the red colour.
  5. also another thing isn't there a problem with slip on disks? as far as the littlest amount of liquid that gets on to the disk can cause the brakes to slip on the disk? correct me if i am wrong?
  6. i would of thought that hydraulics are better than vees? i mean theres nothing wrong with vees, i just cant see them holding compared to a hydraulic
  7. i am thinking red/white. as for frames right now I'm thinking about sticking with what i have the crack has been dealt with as far as i know. and i just think that for me its best just to stick with the frame i have learn the basics then consider something a bit better
  8. its going to have to be street. dont know why cant explain why. i have just always prefered street over natural.
  9. going back to the paint topic i was just wandering if people could give me there views on a colour scheme. im going to primer the bike, then spray it and finish it with a nice laquer only i dont know what colour scheme to use. i was thinking red frame with white rims and white handle bars or red frame with black rims and keeping everything else on the bike black. - Red/White - Red/Black I just want to see other peoples opinions.
  10. cheers mate. don't worry ill kick my dad into halfords he can buy it:P i was considering buying a new frame but to be honest i would rather make something out of the frame i have got and actually use the bike i have for what is was meant to be used for
  11. lol mate the bike is stock unfortunately they came with it. they will soon be dealt with
  12. ahhhhh ok lol ill leave it to some of the more experienced riders to give you a detailed answer
  13. well are you just starting out as a trials rider? if so i suggest the mad 2six frame although it is liable to break i would use it just as something to get the basics on.
  14. yehhhh definitely will get some finished pics up should be a nice shiner
  15. now your meant to say 'and heres one i made earlier' cheers mate. ill look into that
  16. sooo give it a good old sanding, prime it, paint it and add the laquer? and all this can be done at home? what about the paints? can they all be brought form somewhere like halfords?
  17. also the graphics such as 'saracen' down the side of the bike are they able to come off in any way? or is it easy enough to paint over them?
  18. well luckily my dad works with a professional welder, so to be honest not sure on a price but ask around don't just go for the nearest specialists or the first one you find. plenty of deals can be made
  19. yehhh was thinking ill have loads of it white but naaaa dont think it would look to good so maybe the rims and the bars, should be pretty awesome now all i need is some money on the topic of colour schemes how should i go about painting the frame? does it need to be prepped first? is it just a simple spray can and spray it on? or should i look at getting a professional to do it? i have already snapped it once but it has been repaired since
  20. i just thought at night it looked so much more, the bikes gleaming the speed everything. though i don't think the 1000 lampposts did anything for global warming
  21. welding a frame as far as i am concerned is fine. i have just had my own frame welded back up after it snapped. it was done professionally and they also put an extra piece of metal onto my frame to try and increase the strength a bit more. So it is fine but i would just suggest you get it done by a specialist
  22. awesome cheers for that mate
  23. maybe even a red/white combo for the colour scheme????
  24. lol trueeeee but hey gotta love them is it me or did moto gp under flood lights look bloody awesome
  25. ooooooo don't worry i have welded it up and my dad put an extra piece of metal onto the frame just to strengthen it up a bit more. i was looking at spraying the entire frame red getting rid of the graphics so that the frame is a simple red color or a glossy sort of red maybe a bit of sparkle in there and then for the wheels and any extra parts of the bike to be painted black so theres a red/black color scheme going on. for items such as these is there anywhere i can look if i want to get them cheap? or cheaper than normal price?
