JJ ... wow. Do you still ride bike at all?
Lloyd is super nice. Met him at OTN Days 09. His HIFI is very light.
yeah i still ride, more so lately then before. Been concentrating on Mototrials the past couple years but still riding bicycles, i just dont compete(not like there's any competitions around here anyways)

In some American states you can marry your pickup/horse/donkey/sheep.
*May not be entirely true.
I thinks that's legal in Oregon

There are quite a few riders in NYC. Lloyd and i used to ride there alot, but its a 3 hour drive for me. planning a ride there this summer at some point. Brakeless + Central park=epic
Lloyd got a new editing program I've been working with him on and he discovered how to flip the video in hope of making people believe he can ride switch hahahaha

I'm 6th 4 and my pro 720s are fine
TT High rise...best bars out there

if your pads have glazed, gritty mud or water and sand and ride down some hills. some semi metallic pads will act like this if contaminated.
-
They are the same thing.
They are NOT the same thing. I have the same brakes on my freeride/skatepark bike and had the same problem with a linear slick cable. Lenosky turned me onto the mech cables. night and day difference. they dont compress like the slick does. Dont ask for advice if you already know all the answers.

i was going to comment but Ali already stated everything i was gonna say. so re-read his posts
-
if you insist on running a cable rear disk, try using the stiff 2.0 derrailer cable housing. you can wind that up with two bar spins and the brake still works fine. it's a really stiff housing. also make sure your pads arent contaminated and are hitting flush.

yeah land flat for sure, just rty to accelerate a bit upon landing. thats what i do to keep from being driven through my bars
-
Yeh the views are pretty average I suppose , brakeless drops are alright if you can land them flat without jarring you wrists, not that I can do that.
try landing with a little pedal flick to transfer your momentum from down to forward, might help save your wrists a little

Tech trial, nuff said

My Trialtech sprung tensioner (now part of The World's Most Advanced Spoke Tensionerâ„¢ up there) was pretty much faultless the entire time I had it. Works better than almost all other ones out there because of it's 'pinless' design so you can get it ultra low profile so it's nice and out of the way.
You could always switch to a K810 (or get a Lite/610HX) and be able to run a plethora of tensioners whilst still having a chain the same strength too.
no longer running it Mark? have any better pics of the "world's most advance spoke tensioner?"

Inspired Fourplay is sitting in my dining room staring at me as i type this. drove 50 miles in the slop today to pick it up. Can't wait to get some time in on it! Thanks for the advice guys, be a little bit till i'm confident enough on it to film anything worth posting

Looks great Adam, glad to see you stuck with dual discs

Mark, remember that some of these young pups in the trials world don't remember when a bicycle had a seat (or at least had one zip tied onto the area where the protuding seat tube used to be...)
These kids never knew the old school, or had Union Flag headtube graphics or blue top tube pads because the Tongue Brothers used them and they were cool.
For those reading this who don't know what old school is, here's a handy guide:
Wow you just made me feel really old. at least im not the dog's @$$ yet

Help needed, near pulling my hair out! 38inch noproblem straight to back wheel, 7pallets side hop is ok. So thought I'd try 43-44 inch wall. Problem is I always try to use the front to lift the back up when I get to this hight, couldn't get the wall, so close but yet so far!! I want to land on both wheels at same time with out using front. I can't seem to lift my knees up high enough, I can do 40inch nicely landing on a wall but any higher I seem to lose myway. Is there any techniques on the preload side of things.
Thanks in advance.
Gary
Try a little stretching. you might be reaching your body's limit right now, more practice and conditioning might help. really concentrate on exploding off your front foot when you jump. then tuck as hard as you can. you'll go higher the more you condition your body to jumping. hope that helps
