as suggested above, but maybe the bike isn't actually helping you, by the bike i mean the setup. maybe try a higher bar and stem combo (high rise) to stop you being bent foreward and stretched over to the bars? i use to get stiff back from ym stock and i think this is why. just a thought mind you. james
dude, you make them sidehops well comfortably, so why on earth do you on/off them, after watching a few videos you do it alot?? if you make them as easy as you do, keep it.
can you not remember mine on a grind? or mikes? lol they are ok on a grind but come into there own on smooth. what made you want cousts? i've got them for my vee, goin to test them on smooth an then very very light grind
enjoyed that ben lol was well good. lol at cockshott rolling up the wall. trials doesn't have to be serious, why does everyone winge when people have a laugh? p.s. ben you owe me hundreds of puncture patches x
i used to use 661 gloves, the used some fox gloves which i really didn't like, then bought some troy lee designs (about £17) but well worth it, now i just foam grips, or in summer when sweaty hands become an issue, back to the good old tld.
do as what is said above, literally brush the grinder around while its spinning, increases brake bite (dependant on pads) but doesn't eat them alive while normal braking. other alternative, get a grind, new pads that last, jobs a good'en.
alternatively, use a set of powerful pads i.e TNN vee pads and a good vee brake? but wevo mounts are fine, sometimes flexy, just use a simple magura booster
'' don't see myself getting from A to B....'' trust me, with a trials bike, you wont be going from A to B anyway mate, the gear ratios are specific and make it very difficult to ride distance, after your first bike you will understand why. With an MTB background your probably better off with a stock (26") keep an eye out on ebay for good second hand deal on bikes such as an echo control or zoo pitbull ect.
either has to be a CLS video 'CLS Project' OR damon watson video 7 i think? the one with dizee rascal music, where he does a huge gap up to front to a wall, off a bench, across a path lol
i used to have a blade and to be honest thought it was a reallly good bike, however not one parts was as standard. i did find it was a tad flexy without a booster, but they are so easy to ride and look and feel good to. to be honest the stock onza parts are stupidly heavy and may make it difficult for him to learn on but plenty of people have managed with them so its just my opinion. would definately take the blade if you could get a reasonable spec and price. MONTY are good bikes just to clarify, i had a kamel (well i bionic mod - same as kamel) and i loved it, just decided to go stock otherwise would have kept it.
seems as though your doing everything right, keep practising mate you will be a good rider, better than me! even though this isn't a hard accomplishment
why are you worried about having alight bike to start? i had a mission prodigy and it was a tank. loved it mind you, and then i built another 3 terrible bikes since that untill i eventually got a zoo! and the zoo wasn't even that light. just get what you want, not what you think other people might like/want.
