Erm yea, about that its not pink, its red. lookin sweet that stock, not to sure on rear wheel but if you like it

Don't force the tuck, find a style suited and comfortable to you, keep practising. i find if i throw my fron end up first like previously said but i dont rely on landing on the front, i try and even it out just before landing so i get it smooth and two wheels almost together. keep trying

Its personal preference, and experience. If you have the money buy a deng frame and build it because they will take a good beating.

Are There Diffrent Size Cranks
James Shields replied to jewish james's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
By sizes do you mean lengths? The answer is yes if you mean lengths. i think it varies from 158 - 175 mm length of crank arms. My old monty 221ti crank arms were 158mm. -
I also live in darlington. lol i wasn't even aware that there is trials spots in barney. need to open my eyes. im currently building my pitbull but once i've finished i may look down. Add me to msn:) : shieldsy04@hotmail.com Names james.

Look for something along the lines of a cheap deng frame (echo, zoo, GU etc.) Very strong frames take a bashing, not to heavy and very reliable. i think you'll find they are very recomended. I am not 100% on this but i dont think monty is deng. IMO monty's ride so smooth and nice, maybe look out for a 219 magura or something similar. it will all come down to budget etc. these are my personal views, others may think different. But definately try out a deng frame. james

My cranks used to do this on my mod, i simply just left it and rode with it, used some oil on the pedals and tightened everything up and it was fine, then came back. Never made damage just a horrible noise. Maybe grease the parts up like previously said, and check everything. james

Nice bike mat, is it me or are they mike's wheels lol ? (aka sean kingston) looks sweet

Don't you mean: ''side hop and back wheeling'' Anyway; 1) how long you been riding. This cannot just be mastered all of a sudden and you won't turn into damon all of a sudden, it takes practise and time, patience and persistence. My advice would be keep practising and steadily increase the height bit-by-bit, this way you should find a style comfortable to you and progress. I have only learnt recently, however another good thing is to ride with people better than yourself, and push yourself. hope it helps. james

i use a programe called something like aimersoft or along those lines anyway. if your lookin for free conversions without downloads i'd suggest this : www.zamzar.com very easy to use and doesn't take very long ! it does anything from videos to music if my memory serves me correct. hope this is a help james.

Pads: Adamant Time used: 2 full days of riding (19 hours) Rim used: Koxx/ Try-All Mod/Stock: Mod Grind: Yes Brake used: Magura hs 33, Zoo cnc lever, 74 kingz tpa Other pads used: Coust cnc, magura blacks, Kool stops Opinion of a working break: Tiny bit of modulation, but lots of sound, bite, lock and hold. Review: I bought these pads from a friend for 5 pound a pair. i thought i may aswell give them a go on a grind (which is half dead) because they are very good on smooth rim. instanly after setting the break up, they were louder than my coust. once i had set them up and given them a good time to bed in they were perfect for me LOTS OF SOUND, excellent bite and hold, and good lock. This was a great boost for my confidence. Decided to add a tiny bit of tar- BIG MISTAKE. all it done was add noise and decrease their bite and hold. i found that for some reason the right pad wore a lot quicker then the left, my right has a huge noticable wear rate, but left is fine ( may have break issues), but for the price they cost me and they arnt over expensive to buy new they are awesome HIGHLY recommended I.M.O! I have some ZOO! pads arriving this week and they have a lot to live up to/ surpass. Finally lecture over lol:P. Cheers james.

Fairplay dude, at least you have made a video! Your not as bad as you think keep practising man and you will get better. I've started to ride with better people in new spots, and i find this helps A LOT! You should try it. well done james

Just my opinion, but i think they look absolutey awfull. they look very 'Un-finished' and i don't know, they look like they are confused, like a cross between the old maggies, and a deng lever. wouldnt have one. james

Thanks for all the comments and i have thought about the one side, but i have a friend splitting a GU typhoon so i was going to buy ISIS bb and Echo cranks to go with it. Thanks again. james

Ok so basically as it says in the title. i have stripped the threads off my pedal (left side) which isnt a problem but i have also stripped my crank arm. My cranks are fsa forged, is there anything i can do to 'repair' them? i have been told about helicoiling it but, not sure where to get the kits or how to use them etc, as i have never needed to. I have seen that tarty sell cnc thread inserts but they are only for Tensile. Any ideas/ help? Thanks people james.

i have a HS11 on my base, and mine is set up BETTER then my friends HS33. i use the evo mounts, one standard magura booster and a water bleed. The pistons are set up with about 5mm from the rim surface, which is ground, and has enough clearance, on top of my nice buckles i tried to help, lol thanks james.

sorry to spoil this but if you do thave a Hs11 like you say, they DON'T HAVE A TPA.
