to be honest mate you are just starting out you don't really need a brake that can withstand a great deal just stick a grind or tar on you wheel and use the pads you have should keep you ticking on nicely for back-hops lunges ect Gary

why not use wd40? thats what i use have done for a few years now with no leaks. works the same as water may even be thinner then water dont quote me on that though! only thing i must add is dont use the stuff out of the can because it just flys out the hose when bleeding use the stuff you get in a big plastic container for refilling the spray bottles you can get Gary.

im running the monty 221 stem you know the carbon lookalike one with the monty 221 riser bars and they are mint! best bars i have ever used. i think zoo make similar ones p.s i think try all flat bars with matching stem feel poo

i heard they stopped making them. maybe if you keep an eye out on the for sale items area or maybe ebay if you lucky or if not you could use abit of thick rubber tube cut down then zip tied onto your downtube does the job

just fort i would say hi and tell you a little about myself my name:Gary location: felixstowe suffolk bike: zoo python occupation: apprentice plasterer i started out trials back in 2003 then i quiet in 2006 i aslo entered the EBTC competitions and i won the best in category for the whole year in novice route luckily i kept my bike i went out riding this weekend and all i can say is I'm hooked again we rode felixstowe on Saturday, Ipswich Sunday and woodbrige today. im still as good as i was, may have a little more power nowadays so if you remember me from rides ect then add me as a friend and if you live near by and want to go for a ride just give me a shout.
