Ha, cheers everyone. Thanks! I've mainly been doing mini flips off a kicker so I think I go JUST fast enough and spin fast to compensate, I'm still a flip novice so it's quite hard to judge speed and stuff on different ramps, learned on a 6ft one but my kicker is only 2ft, it's way harder on smaller ramps. I've lost plenty of brain cells learning them lol, and my body is ruined. It's mental how the French riders do them all day to concrete like it's nothing. Cheers, that was bloody hard, learned it from Revolution... Now you mention it, I'm definitely lacking 180s! Good shoes are so hard to find in size 13, I don't like them any more than you do....lol.

Cheers, yeah that made me sad, I need to make more effort not to get injured.

Fractured my foot after Radfest, lost all of August, was really happy with the start but I'm not happy it's been cut so short, but meh, winter's here now.
-
Haha, that made me laugh too.

No it's cool, Ross put it out there not you my point is it's only out there because of what Mark said.

Anyone not critical of those welds, considering who makes them and what they cost is just biased/turning a blind eye, if they were £50rrp it wouldn't be so bad. My recommendation is not to make petty digs at every new frame that's not an Inspired. Inspired are the biggest company by a mile, the bikes sell themselves, I don't think they need to employ someone to make bitchy comments online for years on end. Marino has done a lot for me so I feel I should say something. Also, whether he likes it or not, when it comes to promotion, info and putting products out there Mark's basically the face of Inspired on here, but he obviously has some deep rooted pent up hatred towards Marino that never really went away, it all comes across as very petty and childish, not sure that's what Inspired were going for. I know for a fact Inspired work hard to stop pics and info like that coming out, so yeah I am sympathetic towards Inspired, they make good stuff, I use some of it. I'm not blinded by hate so I don't mind admitting that.

Mark, by being bitchy (or maybe grumpy/depressed) you've inadvertently released a picture of some extremely shitty Inspired forks that somehow made it through quality control, I'm sure Inspired will be overjoyed, good work.

I think the rims were a giveaway!

Never EVER do that around a disc brake. One drop of WD40 can ruin your pads.

Unfortunately that Avid one looks even more feeble than a Shimano.
-
Go on ebay and just buy the cheap fat adaptors, one is on there for about £5 and it'll outlast that Shimano one. Never use anything that skinny for trials. Wasn't the calipers fault, it just wasn't supported properly.
-
Well it definitely ain't as good as 1 or 2! There are some nice tributes in it, but it's your typical modern remake, too cheesy, too much cgi, and it's a 12.

Come on, we've all got full time jobs, except the kids! Straightening a wheel is a ten minute job!

He ate a small meal every 15 minutes for a year, to ride a slackline....? I'm sure the Red Bull really helped too!

Do the forks!

Thoroughly nice, I enjoyed. Good song too.

Ice Tech won't make any noticeable difference, they might stand up to a knock better, or worse, no idea. I've got both and I notice zero difference so don't put too much thought into it. Like Luke says you're small and light so you'd probably get away with 180's on very good brakes.
-
His frame looks proper old school though, I remember back in the Zero/Zebdi/Norco days that the shorter forks of yesteryear always felt better on those frames, low bb, low front etc, might be the same deal. Probably the same reason he has a low bar & stem with barely any stackers compared to your average Hex.
-
Oh and do the forks the same colour, that'd look great!
-
Actually if you get past the "sweet spot" it can actually become harder to lift the front up, try every height inbetween until it feels right. But yeah being quite tall you'll feel a bit cramped, especially with such a short stem, you're probably better off with a 90mm x 25 ish, you also wouldn't need the bars as far forward then as the stem would put your weight there instead. Also, you'd get more height options with loads of smaller spacers instead of 2 massive ones, as right now it looks like your only options are roughly 0mm, 20mm or 40mm. I'm 6ft and I have 35mm, but that's a different stem/frame etc so it's irrelevant really, but a mix of 5mm and 10mm spacers will allow much more adjustment.
-
You'd probably be better off just lowering the stem rather than having bars like that, as that's a really high front end anyway. That's a pretty short responsive bike, but you're losing most of that having your bars upside down, it's a high bb too, if it feels hard to back hop then the front is probably just too high.
-
Much better, however...I'm praying those bars are just loose and slipped down, but the lever angle almost confirms my fears.
