  1. Oh it's real! But sadly I don't have a competent cameraman down here so it could be a while... I actually didn't like the rims on their own when they turned up, but yeah, if they were gonna work with any colour frame then it's this one! I loved the gold ones as wheels but they looked cheap and nasty on all 3 frames I had them on
  2. Southend is not as good as it used to be but there's plenty there if you're new. Chelmsford is not all that, Basildon is ok but you can't ride most of it on a weekend, plus it's a shithole.
  3. New exhaust, old one was annoyingly loud.

    Pad Reviews

Pads: Trialtech Sport disc pads Time used: 3 ish months Brake used: Saint M810 How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Best power, worst clunking. Review: Took no time to bed in. Power was the best I've used, even slightly better than EBC reds, but the pad rock/knock became too much, I turned them around and it made the noise/movement slightly more bearable but not for long. Disappointing as they're basically useless, all because they're made a fraction too small. I'm sure some fit, but mine didn't. I'll stick with EBC as they seem to fit every time.
  5. I'm with JMI (Just Motorcycle Insurance). I've been with a few others in the past, Motorcycle Direct and Express Insurance were two of them.
  6. Every time I think he must have run out of moves he does this.

  13. Seen the same happen, before the lever blade snapped on a small fall on the same day. I was tempted, the calipers look great, and the power is obviously there, but for what they cost they're not good enough.

    Hope Rim Brake

Reckon they'll be DOT fluid? That wouldn't be a popular choice. Pretty sure Hope have never used mineral oil though.
  15. 6ft 2" is not huge to the point of needing to modify stuff. Try a slightly longer stem or a longer reach frame. I'm 6ft, My Marino has a pretty long reach, about 683mm and it's so nice, loads of room to stretch out but it's all still short enough to throw about effortlessly. It's quite a low bb at +15 so that helps a bit.

    Hope Rim Brake

Why do most trials related levers look and feel shit these days?
  17. Might have to tone down my V12 pins though.
  18. Yeah they're the standard ones! You can turn them around so you can have the long threaded end or the nut end on the other side, the middle ones that are stubby can't be flipped though as you can't get an allen key in the back. I agree on the 6mm and no spanner fitting though, it's a bit annoying, I don't think I own a 6mm long or strong enough for pedal worthy torque.
  19. Look reasonable...the platform's a full 10mm longer than the Nukeproof and 4mm longer than V12s. I'm glad I don't do sidehops.
  20. That's the most enjoyable vid I've seen for ages.
  21. Thanks for clearing that up...
  22. I've got the new V12s too and I do really like them, I do really like my Neutrons but they just feel too small, even if the studs are so long I can feel them in my feet. Rusevelt, have you seen the price of bog standard Vaults? There's not exactly much in it, and these have an even bigger platform which is what I need. There's the brendog versions too but who wants to pay £100 for matte black pedals?
  23. I ordered some DMR Vault Lacondeguy signature pedals today, I expect them to be excellent, and they better be for that price.
