  3. was a good ride, about 12 riders total..... best bit of day = Bret (planet-x-boy) got ARRESTED cuffs and his rights followed by back seat of cop car to station the full shebang, nice 1 bret i've got 4 mins of it on video but i need to find a mini firewire to mini firewire cable, or go round mates house to take footage off DV cam see vids + pics section for a few pics (video to follow)
  4. should be a quality ride i'll phone steve up on friday to let him know all the details of where + when we meeting, see you all saturday
  5. WD40 or GT85 all the parts to get all the dirt out/off, then a little smear of grease will be more than enough to keep the pawls running smooth
  6. cant remember who it was, but someones chainring folded up like that on the newcastle ride hope mine never goes, cant get them anymore *BETD Titanium nitride coated 20t*
  7. i'd take it back apart and make sure you clean all that dust and crap out of the ratchet system. but apart from that your fine, loads of people end up pulling the freehub off when they try to remove a "dug-in" cassette sprocket hope freehubs probs the easiest freehub to remove (not sure what the Pro2 freehubs are like though, probs same style)
  8. QUOTE(deanie-b @ Feb 8 2006, 08:37 AM) ←Whip her apart, DEGREASE everything, pawls, bearings, the lot.... i guess you either dont have a king, or know the internals atleast also very few people can get the bearings out without damaging them as you need the £100 tool to take bearinsg out and put in properly best way to bed them in is go rolling down loads of hills, or send it off to tarty for a "no skip" servce (if he still does them) but as has been mentioned, take the freehub off and spray loads of degreaser in it (x-lite do some top notch stuff) get rid of alot of the grease, then spray some GT85 or WD40 in it, put it all bakc together and ride it for a bit to bed the bearings in, then you should be good to go..... worked perfectly for me
  9. i'll try get coley and james out, neil (lad on pace at newcastle ride) aint coming, he's under the thumb and is being dragged out with his lass and her parents try get grainger out aswell if you can kieron
  10. you end up going into the casino/pub after leaving us lot in car park then? that wall back at centre for life at end of the ride was a good finish to the night, all the music from the ice skating *jump up, jump up, and get down!*
  11. you think its expensive sending hope stuff off.... wait for something to brake on your king and send it off for warrenty, you get hit badly with import tax, no way around it either.... i own a king myself, and it cost me about £20 to get my HD bolts warrentied when i snapped 1 (import tax fee).... and thats a cheap part of a king *waits for Hope Pro2T to be released * *edit* oh yeah, and it usually takes 1-2 weeks to get the parts back from king
  12. *cough* and thanks to street trials rider for uploading them for me *cough*
