  1. 0% go joy riding and park on curb, its faster
  2. viagra will also keep awake
  3. sort of, other people supply the stuff, we just mess about on it when we can, although it seems to attract more people than the actual show that the stuff was supplied for in the first place..... on another note, the preston park thing (althouhg being very very shite ocurses) usually has a little fun trial with cash/voucher prizes, but its literally mud banks with the odd log thrown in, its a good day to meet up and mess about though *edit* oh and the plod guy that organises it is always in my works (halfords) i'll try have a word with him next time he's in, try get us a propper course with skips etc, if he knows there will be more intrest it might just push him to agree to it
  4. maggy + goodridge hoses  best combination, IF you ever manage to snap the hose, they are guaranteed (sp) for life, so new hose comes your way also my maggy felt alot more powerful (less spongey + more responsive) when i switched from plastic shite to goodridge, i'd never go back spend the money, buy a goodridge kit
  5. which didnt quite go too right
  6. which was then used by fred to pimp up the wheels on his car
  7. then along came superman and squished hulk with a car
  8. lmao you have no idea how far it is form the train station... especially on trials bikes, you'll need ages to recover... although i might catch you all up later on in the day, i'm working 9-2 (up to now....)
  9. 30kg is what... 66lbs (atleast) unless you own a "brooklyn bikes rubby ducky" DH rig, you've got nothing to worry about i used parcel force when i sold my BMX, cost me £20 and that weighed about 40lbs
  10. i take my time and make sure its all perfect, including trying to get the logo (if there is 1) on the hub inline with the valve hole, stress it, then re-tension, stress and re-tention again then i'm usually done in about 1 1/2 - 2 hours
  11. god help us if this is true .......
  12. i'm up for it if i can get there... it isnt all that far, but will probs mean getting train
  13. *me filming* plod: can you turn that off please... - me: ok *turns camera off* warden: why are you filming this?.... - me: i'm board
  14. or just contact fatmike and just buy a BMX hub, saves the mess around etc....
  15. some absolute c**t of a security guard for the site called in the community wardens..... who then called in the plod and called it criminal damage... the plod didnt seem all that bothered about it by the looks of things *still need to get the 4mins of footage of arrest off the camera*
  16. 12ft to concrete 14ft to grass (after trying 14ft to sand a few week before) i went through a phase of dropping anything i could find that was like 10-12ft.... ended up with 9 snapped XT BBs in the space of 2 month  its not all about high you can drop off when you start going big though, its how smooth can you do it... i could never get my landings all that soft on anything past about 8ft (still cant actually )
  17. my random trick collection consists of... - no-footer bunny hops - 1 hander bunny hops - crankflip bunny hops - no-foot can-can's on back wheel - no-handed trackstands (as pictured below) - switzerland squeakers (sp) - flatland tailwhips they my main tricks, then anything involving 180s, 360s and manuals is all cool
  18. tom i've already told you, no it wont fit..... if you want a king hub for your mod you WILL need to buy the king BMX hub... dont go trying to modify a mtb to fit a mod, it will damage things and/or be a waste of money as after you've purchased parts + a hub to mess with you may aswell of just bought a BMX one without the hassle go on, go buy 1 and find out..... you might find out the shocking truth
  19. ^ yup..... and the rail was a bike rail (which was held on with 1 rusty 4mm bolt who would trust locking their bike to that..... he only lifted it up like you would lift the front end of yoru bike up to spin the wheel to check for a buckel (not very hard basically )
  20. as bret mentioned (and i forgot to mention earlier) that bigger drop is about 8 1/2 -> 9ft i can barely reach the top and i can put my fingers just over the top of 8 1/2ft ledge ("custom" height guage )
  21. the way i try to teach people is to get your front foot out of the way then kick down and away with your back foot then get your front foot back in place to stop the rotation (found this method easier than pulling up with front foot) After a while you get used to how long it takes to rotate and you can just ride along talking to someone and crankflip without looking where the pedals are and land it perfectly.
