when i rode nottingham with tart a few years back, the only differences between our bikes were: i had a discotech, he had a classic i had brisa bars, he had montys i had rubber grips, he had foams... that was it, tehy rode IDENTICALLY, we could jump on each others bikes and ride them like your own straight off! it was mildly strange, and a little sad, but great fun! tehy were however totally different colours and as joe says.... red is CLEARLY best

you've clearly missed something ashton has a much steeper head angle than the 04 control, controls were 1065 or 1085, the ashton comes in at 1055, and i THINK the 04 control had 385 stays, as id certainly didnt have a CNC'd yoke, it had the koxx/pure style twin plates

yet theres currently nothing out there that can pick up the mobile cameras..... the only thing you can do for the mobiles is to get a blocker, which totally scrambles there cameras, although if your caught using one of them your in BIG trouble....

gotta beg to differ there mate any excuse tehehe really though, corsas are PROPER f**kING NASTY, or at least the corsa B is.... my missus drives one, and it makes me feel violently sick every time i drive it.... i really do hate it with a passion! the saxo VTR is slow and boring.... i really wouldnt bother. if you have to get one of these, either get a corsa GSI 1.6, or a saxo VTS, there the only two which can really be worth having a play with...... first cars dont have to be shit.... but you gotta be prepared to put in some SERIOUS cash oh, and PS2's, DVD screens, and bucket seats arnt serious mods.... thats dumb kids trying to make theyre slow cars more like a front room than a car.... twice as much power as you were ever ment to have and fully adjustable suspension is being serious about cars..... i dunno lee.... i kissed my mini goodbye when i last left to go back to uni.... and i really do miss it more than words can POSSIBLY describe.... i sometimes sit here in my room just looking at pics of it!

or perhaps me because i live here charlie freddy, your best off parking outside my halls at southsea common. there a re a few free spaces, otherwise its a bit cheaper than in town! and its only 2-3mins ride from guildhall

hey guys, sorry to start another thread about the comp, but its the only way its going to be seen.... does anyone have a copy of the hampshire comp entry form on computer they could post up here, or e-mail to me? ive been wanting to do the comp, but only found out about it recently, and havnt been able to get hold of terry on the phone..... so im a bit lost as to what to do! terry used to let people enter on the day, but ive been told that hes much more strict and wont allow this anymore can anyone help at all?

well i know i can access the BS through something called an ATHENS account at my uni library...... some sort of uni affiliated account that gives us access to all the british standards...... i dont THINK its just engineering related....

i didnt manage to spin it at all though (talk to NBR_andy about that ) but i did have 2 VERY sideways moments.... each time trying to follow full race cars into bends at crazy speeds! i put it sideways into quarry at around 100mph, i posted the vid of that up on here a while back, luckily i saved it though both times so all was good! the mini is pretty planted.... but you can still come unstuck when you try to follow a car (thats won the extreme mighty minis series 3 years running) into a bend at race speeds..... its insane fun, just make sure you dont total your car...... and watch out for other stuff going MUCH quicker than you!

ive taken my mini round castle combe, which was an INCREDIBLE day, although its perhaps not the track your after, as its a VERY fast track.... i was averaging over 75mph around it..... pushing 115 on the straights. throughout the winter donnington park offer an open pit lane trackday for just £99! whereby you pay your money and you can drive as many laps as you like for just £99!!!! i think donningtons MILES up north from me, so may be near you.... Oulton park is also supposed to be a very good day out..... with a nice mix of high and low speed corners... one thing to point out, is that its going to cost you a LOT in tyres..... i took about 4k off my front yokos in just 12 laps of combe....... so thats around £50s worth of tyre.... more on your fiesta due to them being bigger. it really is the most incredible fun though!
