id say i probably veiw a good few hundred pages on here every day...... when im bored, ill just keep checking back to a thread i find intersting, maybe 10 times in a day if im not doing anything. 10 000 unique visits is pretty mental though

ive had my echo lever for a week, and im absolutely loving it! it took a little while to get used to, as the blade is actually pretty wide, so may not suit those with tiny fingers. but now im used to it, it feels REALLY nice!

ive got a house in a small village called baska voda, its about 90mins south of split airport, and afew hours up the coast from dubrovnik. croatia is AWESOME!!! your house is 50yards from the most amazing beach, there are bars all along the beach, open until 4-5am every night, and beer is around 42p a pint! anywhere southernish tends to be really nice! the places near us i could reccomend are Brela, Baska Voda, Tuceppi, and makarska. all are awesome, and fairly small to not too comercial. and all have awesome beaches and loads of watersport activities. basicly, its just like spain, but without the c*unts..... weather is incredible.... one morning i woke up it was 38 degrees inside my bedroom but there are lots of nice palm trees to shade under

im guessing Zlet is some kinad turbo motor..... i think the calibra 2.0 turbo motors were C20LET

last time i saw it he was running a rear avid....

its SO hard to believe that dave has ever got laid the idea is just wrong..... mind you, got must have made chavettes for a reason.... thats just silly man! not from a 'you gay you havnt kissed someone' point of veiw. but simply because your hardly an ugly f**ker, and your clearly a sound guy it just doesnt add up.....

come on ben, thats a bit harsh! everyone knows that when you start doing a lot of front wheel moves, king headsets just arnt up to the job, and the top race destroys itself in a matter of months.... you, being thin, may not have had this trouble, but i know mine fell apart in months, as did tartys, and if it wasnt an issue, why would edd potts currently be working a way around them destroying themselves? its a fact, king headsets arnt up to it. and its nothing to do with me not having the stuff anymore! i REALLY dont see ANY point in a king front hub, its sodd all weight difference, and my last hope front hub served me 4 years without a single problem.... as far as im concerned, king front hubs are a waste of money, and ive never had one¬! i could have had WHATEVER i liked on this bike, as money was literally no object. i chose these bits because i think they are THE best parts money can buy for what i want and my style of riding.... so dont say its just because i havnt got things anymore that i slate them. if i had something, and now dont, its because it was shit. end of. and whats the car comment all about? ive never changed my veiws on cars really..... ive always said that NOTHING will ever beat a mini for straight out fun, and thats a view i stick by. ive always said that if you want a straight out track car, then turbos are cheating, and only for people who dont want to spend money on tunning a proper engine. ive always admited that i have a bit of a love for VAG cars as well as minis, seeing as my parents both drive VAG cars. and im certainly not about to turn around and say i prefer my audi A3 to my mini. as much as i love what tha udi stands for, it doesnt even go half way to replacing the mini, which was, quite frankly, the most amazing car to drive ive ever been in! dont start having a go at me because i see no point in king fornt hubs and headsets.... to me way of thinking, they serve no place in trials, and are just a fashion statement.

basicly, to explain alex a bit better. the diameter of the thread on his cranks is some 3-4mm smaller than the diameter of the thread on his freewheel. his free wheel has FF on it, so its clearly a front application. the thread on the cracks is also of a much sharper and deeper pitch than the freewheel, so it would appear the previous owner has removed the extra thread ring you mention along with his last freewheel! bugger.

it was only ever blue hubs dave! and i was forever trying to get rid of them! but could never afford to change my king for a black/silver one! given the chance now ive gone with a colour scheme that will fit with any bike i get in future i could get another two links out of the chain, but i was in a hurry and the tension is so strong i couldnt join the chain with it tighter and couldnt be botehred to get something to hold the arm u while joined it ill get a proper chain and run it tighter really soon the echo CNC lever blade feels GORGEOUS too, although the frames horribly flexy without a decent booster so i cant really tell you how the brake is going to feel until its setup properly, but the blade is really comfy on your finger. it rides perfectly too, and im liking the 16/14 gearing again! and yes rob that is my spangly new car, and its AWSOME! best thing is, that the bike fits in the back without taking the front wheel off! just pop the seats down and throw it in!

there is NO point in a king front hub AT ALL, its a complete waste of money, and king headsets are SHITE imo, my last one lasted me no time at all...... its not the typical 'pimp' spec, its far more well thought out than that! think about it.... i could have had whatever i wanted, and i chose these parts.... there must be a reason for it! expensive is not always best! although this did cost £1600..... as for annodised parts, mine are all annodised you tit! just in black or silver! as its far more classy and subtle than some rancid bike covered in annodised red bits.... you could get a new frame and it might look WANK. my parts will look perfect on ANY frame. its little things like the cnc lever blade, the rohloff tensioner, and the 06 atomlab pedals that make it special not 'look at me everythings f**king annodised blue' quick spec (of when everythings arrived) ashton frame Echo urbans Hope 110x10 stem Hope headset Zoo! bars BT ISIS BB RS7 super pro trials Rear Ck single speed on ronnie (sapim spokes) front Hope XC on Reggie hope front skewer Atomlab 06 slimline aircorp pedals rohloff chain tensioner kmc 810 8spd chain silver HS33, Echo CNC lever blade Echo CNC 4bolt clamps Hope Braided hoses front and rear Heatsink 4bolt booster Plaz CRM pads hi-rollers, 2.35f 2.5 rear, SR maxxis freeride rear tube maxxis superlight front tube formula ORO k24 200mm disc up front. surley 14t rear cog. i think thats about it..... no im not you tit, because theres a comp that day which you AND steve should be at! common lads, sort it out!

well, after a few weeks waiting on bits to come into stock, the ashton has finally arrived i was lucky enough to get £1700 to spend at tartybikes from my insurance Co after my new ashton was stolen just over a month ago. heres the result! a few things left to do still, waiting on a heatsink booster, and some bits for the hope braided hoses (need to call you about that ad) and waiting on stock for the new k24 200mm front brake, and a kmc thin chain. other than that, shes perfect! yummy

as ive said from the very start, if i can get something from tartybikes, i wont get it from anywhere else thats for sure, no matter what the price is! adam and dave put so much more effort into everything than anywhere else..... the service really is the best ive exerienced. long live tartybikes.... just gotta wait for all the other silly companies to die a death then tartybikes will reign supreme! EDIT: and before anyone says it, YES, yes i am 'bumming' tartybikes, because they ARE the best by a long way, and my new ashton arrived this morning and its AMAZING. night night im pissed, and its bedtime

thats the other thing, the service is so personalised at tartybikes, that its a pleasure to speak to them how oftne do you call up a mail order company and tehy already know what you want? and who you are? top job

i definately found my greens to be the best of the bunch..... the hold was just as good as the reds and yellows, yet the outlasted the reds by months! the greens have been the best koxx pads ive had for sure.

is everyone really that retarded? honestly? if your ordering online, its probably because its after hours, so you cant order by phone at the time. of course, nothing will be processes until the morning when they get in anyway, so you may as well just bloody phone them! am i the only person who thinks online ordering is the most fu<king rediculous thing ever? fair enough, for books and cd's from amazon maybe, but for something like trials parts, with small businesses like tartybikes, its a waste of time! top job to tartrybikes for setting up the online order service, but surely its only to satisfy the morons who insist on using it? rather than making a 3 minute phone call!
