having ridden richs d15c for a few minutes today, i actually REALLY liked his brake setup, and its clearly good enough to withstand some serious abuse from what ive seen of him riding.... dual 180mm mono trials seem absolutely awesome! and its very unlikely you will hit them sidehopping either.

well, clearly nobody has a f**king clue who joe is, or people simply dont like him.... so ill try and restart the thread! if any of you bastards have met me, post in here and lets see if we can get joes gay idea rolling once more!

i think you should leave pete alone. this thread has nothing to do with pete, you dont know him, so drop the pete wright comments. he lives near me, i see him all the time, and hes actually a really sound guy, as anyone whos met him will tell you. the vid wont load for me

im afraid your right! audi co certainly have the edge, although theyre not quite so 'cool' if you know what im mean. seriously classy though! just fitted drilled/grooved discs all round on mine with mintex red box pads, once theyre bedded in the brakes should be awesome! the old discs were SERIOUSLY dead. also found i can get coilovers for around £300, which allow me to lower it up to 60mm!!!! which is mad! coil over time i think! rich-speak to james (noyce) about the mk2 ryder, he has one in red with a load of GTI bits, his is REALLY tidy.

i run plaz crm's on a ronnie with a harsh grind, and guess what..... its really quiet! brake sounds are more to do with what booster your running than pads IMO. on my T-rex the brake was always silent no matter what i did, and i hated it, because it didnt inspire confidence at all, then one day i left my XTR booster off after working on the brake, and MY GOD it was loud. if you want a loud brake, run a shit booster.

i know the guy who owns that car! it was based in plymouth, and still might be! it belongs to the brother of a guy called Chris Kalis, formerly known as Fat Chris, a trials rider in plymouth. his brother Andreas owns the car i believe, and used to go to my school, he was about 5 years above me though! he was well hard back then, and a bit of a gangsta, the cars a little chav, but the work on it up close is SO perfect its unreal. nice motors!

dont do man! its just a ploy to make you feel bad as im sure you know! if she mentions it again, ask if shes sure shes taken enough to kill her, and not just hospitalise her, as it would be a shame to waste those pills for no good reason. Oli, i know exactly what your talking about! she really did sound pretty awesome, and seemed to make you happy, you could tell from the way you spoke about her, and how you were on the phone to her that evening!" id say dont give up hope just yet..... think of something you can do or say that will really make her see your serious, then perhaps leave it and wait for her to make the next move.... given time, im sure she will, she clearly liked you a LOT, and im sure she still does! or, if all else goes wrong.... in the words of poopipe: Kick her in the tits. -

gotta agree with john, its always better to get your own insurance in the long run, otherwise you will still be stuck in a 1.1 saxo aged 22, and thats not funny. (no offense to the 22yr old saxo driving sect of TF) im 19, with 1 years no claims bonus, 1 crash at fault which cost my last insurer around £2000, and i pay £130 a month on a ten month bonus accelarator policy on my Audi A3 1.8 Turbo. its a lot i know, but its alot of car, and something i can keep a fair while. and it is quicker than most things people our age drive, so im prepared to pay over the odds. my advice would be, if you DO crash, do whatever it takes to pay for it from your own pocket, because building up an NCB at a young age will seriously effect that cars you can insure by the time you turn 21! if you managed to get to 21 with a full 4 years no claims bonus, you could quite easily insure an RX7 Twin turbo or such like for less than a 17yr old in a fiesta! its worth it. also, as a side note, direct line now offer NCB for named drivers!
