i ran a pair of martas on my stock a while back, only had a 160 rear and it was actually powerful enough amazingly! very nice brakes, although as you said, i found it to be too delicate really, and sold them. also- all the louises ive seen that are more than a few months old have CHRONIC lever wobble, which is in my opinion WAY beyond the acceptable! id i had to choose one, i guess itd be the louise..... the 160 should be fine, im a heavy git, and the rear 160 marta i ran seemed to be good enough!

on a dyno perhaps wayne, but on a rolling road its clearly the pther way round. a rolling road can only connect to the wheels of course, so it can only measure bhp at the wheels. the figure a rolling road gives at the flywheel is a calculated figure, based on a roll down from high rpm in top gear from high revs to idle, a load is applied during this roll down, and the speed at which the engine rolls down is used to calculate the transmission losses. these calcualated transmission losses are then added to the measured power at the wheels. as a result, power at the flywheel given by rolling roads can be very dubious. its entirely possible to cheat a rolling road, for example, its commonly thought that running tyres SUPER hard can add 1-2 bhp to the measured figure, due to the low rolling resistance of very hard tyres. a dyno can of course ONLY test power at the flywheel, as it connects up directly to the crank.

very true.... due to the weight of the car, and how low 1st and 2nd gears are, the turbo doesnt have enough time to spin up in 1st and 2nd gear to reach full boost..... for example, a remapped A3 will run around 16-18psi or boost, although in 1st gear you will never see more than 10psi, as the gear is so short, its revved right the way through it before max boost has been reached. the same happens in second gear to a lesser extent. once ive upped the boost in mine ill go out and film the boost gauge to show what i mean! she should hit around 16psi in 3rd/4th/5th, but i know it wont happen in 1st or 2nd! and as for the bloke who said why dont we whinge at people sticking Vtecs in minis- its a modern engine, with a very similar weight to the A-series, and as such doesnt upset the handling, of what is already accepted worldwide to be one of the best handling cars there is..... its not a van. not knocking you van guys, what your doing is pretty funky, id love a ride in a c20let van one day! just trying to explain to the narrow minded why you get abit more stick than most.....

say what you like about the french hatches.... but dont ever class the LCR in that group.... unlike the C2 and saxo, and LCR pushes out 225bhp standard, and with a remap, thats straight up to 265..... 6speed box, brembo brakes.... put one of them around a track against a c20let van..... itd be close.....

looks awesome! 165 sounds a little low power wise from a tunned C20XE, considering theyre 150 with everything stock..... meh. i dont know a lot i bet that goes like shit! and its not REALLY a van, its just a 3 door corsa with some sheet metal where the rear glass should be! personally, id like to see a seam around the front bumper/wing, it just looks a little TOO smooth still, a LOT of work gone into that, and not the typical chav mobile most corsas are.... top motor!

yea oily i ment now! although im now quite pissed! dave- we spit, because although she was a lovely girl, and she nver did anything really wrong, we just went compatible any more, as much as i thought i loved her at the time, when i met tori, eveything started to make sense, and life became so much more enjoyable..... you know me, im happy and out going, and love to have a good time, hannah was shy and retiring, and didnt lke people! in the end we just clashed. as much as it was horribe, andf totally turned my life upside down, having been all id known for years i split from hannah, and life really has never been better! im now with tori, and i really am happier than ive even been, we just click in a way i didnt think possible, and i have so much more time to myself now, and still get to se tori loads! life is good! and i couldnt change what ive been through, as tori said to me, i cant change the past, and being with hannah has made me who i am. for which im thankful. i guess you learn from your mistakes. god i sound runk, ill etid this in the morning!
