  1. Sorry guys, I wasn't able to make it today, I've been away on holiday in the Lakes and Smo just told me yesterday about the funeral. Hope all goes well. Regards to Nick's family and friends. He was a great guy, and will be missed by many. Nick
  2. What halls are you in mate? I'd recommend keeping your bike in your room wherever you are, ignore anyone who tells you you can't, it's easy. Dont leave them in the bike lockers or sheds given, my ashton was nicked from under rees hall
  3. I have also been to consultants etc (as have both my Brother he is much worse then me). They said it was the cause for my issues with spelling. So I suppose it depends who you go and talk to. For me it is certain words, I often read books quite quickly simply because I miss bits that don't work in my head. I am not good at new words in writing if they are spoken fine, but if they are written I have to find someone to read them to me because if I have no heard the word said before then I just can not read it, it just means nothing to me I can not even make a guess at pronouncing it as that will always lead to failure. I do hate people that have a problem but then do nothing to help themselves. Yes you may be dyslexic but this is the Internet, you are on a computer you have easy access to something that will correct all your mistakes for you. Tori - Still can't be bothered to remember the password I used for here and Nicks is always logged in!
  4. Yes you may have problems with those aspects but I can darn well assure you that it effects spelling as well. I have no problem with hand writing, but spelling, reading and pronunciation is an issue for me. So saying I am a think b*****d that has never read a book when I read for fun, and am not that dense is really rather unnecessary. Tori
  5. hahahahahahahaha Happy Bday old boy!
  6. Afternoon chaps. After working bloody hard for the last 14 months, I'm finally heading home to plymouth this comming weekend, and feel a bit of a ride comming on. We are having a bit of a party at mine Saturday night (all are welcome to come, just let me know beforehand!) Chilling sunday, then planning to hit plymouth for a good ride on Monday. Say copthorn hotel around 11am? Currently I think it's safe to say it will be me, bigman, Dickie Pearson, Mowgli, Kennard, and hopefully as many more as we can get! So, who's in?
  7. just been to Reading and back, cruised up at 70mph and got a whacking 42mpg!!!! Cained it around in Reading with a mate, and shot back at 90ish, average over the 170 mile trip was 35.5!
  8. You can easily cruise at any RPM off boost. Boost isn't brought on by RPM, it occurs at a given load really, although that can often only happen when a certain RPM is reached... You can accelerate up to 70mph on boost, then back off, and the turbo will stop compressing.
  9. Engine: Petrol (shell V-power only) Size: 1781cc Model: 20valve turbo Driving Conditions: 80 miles a day motorway + bit of city Combined MPG: 32 (@240bhp) Rated MPG (manufacture) : 35 (@150bhp) Comments: standard it made around 32mpg, remapped to 190bhp mpg went up to easily 40 on a run and 34 around town, now with bigger turbo running at 240bhp it's doing 36 on a run and about 28 around town. This is since fitting a larger fuel pump recently, before hand, with a SMALLER pump, it was doing 28mpg MAX, how strange! also: I have run it on 95RON fuel in the past, and it does roughly 4mpg LESS on 95RON fuel compared to Shell 99RON
  10. which one of mikes Roccos is that Boum? I saw him in his first one down in plymouth, and then had the 'pleasure' of riding in it at Brum last summer. That one had white seats though, is yours the second one he had? Looks much cleaner....
  11. surely thats just an audi 100/possible early A6 2.8E? It's got some sort of s badge though, so perhaps it's an old S4 avant with 2.8 badge..... Thats S4 before the A4 existed though.....
  12. it shouldn't be anywhere near that ash! My first year when I was 17 cost me £452 on a 998 Mini, that went up to £999 after a gay stupid crash which took away the benefit of pass plus. Then when I was 19 with all mods declared it was just £630 with HIC, and now the Mini is only £168 a year fully comp! The audi cost me £1900 when I was 19, £900 when I was 20, and now £700 now I'm 21. I've also insured Tori's 1.4 Polo fully comp for her, as a named driver on my policy, for just £400 with her as a learner.
  13. if you want to be technical guys, tom drives a polo 6n, and the later one is the 6n2. Otherwise known as the mk4 and mk5
  14. I dont know if they realised or not.... My car isn't exactly subtle with the big intercooler hanging out the front, and the random pops and spits of flame from the exhaust..... I tried my best though, REALLY annoyed they got away though!
  15. Alas, I was scuppered by the UK road network I was driving home when I saw some kid on a black ghz, circled the roundabout to go back and look, and it was gone. Looked VERY like craigs old one. Turned round to head home, and saw them going down past asda, almost caught up with them, when the pompey traffic stopped me, I was in a que and couldn't get around it! eventually got through the lights and tried to follow them, and just as I was catching up they went down a sodding footpath between two blocks! Circled round to where the footpath came out, and saw them again, so started to follow them, and the buggers went the wrong way down a 1 way street! I tried to find where it came out, but I lost them! I got SO close 3 times, but in heavy traffic in the middle of portsmouth it was near impossible, and 1 prawn vs 3 chavs on bikes is always going to be tough Sorry chaps, No hero prawn today I tried though! I couldn't have gotten too angry with them, what if they tried to scatch my car!
  16. Tori (can't be bothered to change accounts and well Nick will be the same.) Will watch the first show of them going into the house. Will complain about every single person going in, because if any of the last few series are anything to go by I will instantly hate them. Will not watch it again.
  17. Seriously, dude, STOP CALLING IT TRAINING. you sound like some spoon fed little bitch kid whos only reason for riding trials is because daddy wants him to be good (because daddy's too old and fat) You're not training, you're riding because you love it! Otherwise, good vid.
  18. Not quite treby..... Davetrials had it first! He swapped it for a load of bits, I then sold it to Matt having sprayed it orange and cut the disc mounts off. Matt sold it to gary, then matt bought it back, then pete had it, then matt had it again, then kieran had it, and now apparently Alex has it. How has it not snapped in half yet? It was wrecked when I got it! I remember when Pete stripped it down and found all the dents! I had filled them all and made it look perfect when I sold it to matt, and Pete was so gutted to find it was a state. That brake turned up at last, thanks for finally posting it! Enjoy my fake ebay coust.
  19. seriously, dude. Your taste in music makes baby jesus cry....... Good clips, but the music was beyond horrific. edit: sam, can you not turn your speakers off>?
  20. for that money, Id get either: a mk2 golf gti 16v, a 205 1.9 gti, or an E30 318iS (the only multi valve E30)
  21. Bike looks good dickie, although you look really f**king strange on it! On those gaps to front it just looks SO long, not used to you on the long stuff..... How are you getting on with it so far? Ignore all the bummers in this thread, it was about as interesting as an overcast day in barnstaple ever could be. Go make a proper vid with some proper lines you dirty basher.
  22. Tori and I shall be in attendance chaps, as always. More people required!
  23. I'll be out mate! Glad to hear some people are not going to the comp!
  24. I'll be there chaps! Saturday at the station, 11 ish I assume?
