well the monty crank bolts are lighter then the sl ones and are nearly 4 quid cheaper

id buy the sl ones mate makes ur bike look a little better the plain boring standard bolts and there lighter

what size is the thread on youre bottom bracket, M12 or M15???? the SL bolts are only available in M15 so they wont fit if youre thread size is M12

i can see atleast 5 different ways to loose atleast 1kg viz! aint the lightest parts and you could loose even more weight

its mint mate only weighs 8.4 kg aswell well it did before i put that rear tryall tyre on, my eagle claw is was so much lighter

seeing as the wether isnt any good i got bored and built my old frame back up might be selling the frame set ( frame, forks, stem, handle bars, cranks, freeewheel, bb etc) everything but the wheels and brakes but im just going to ride it for abit how ive missed it

no mate the bolt go up it just turns, but makes a horrid grinding noise, maybe the star nut is just turning in the steerer tube??? ill use the drill method i think cheers x think youre right mate but i got a new star nut so all is good

but i cant get the top cap off to put one on?? the stem cant come off untill i get the top cap off

my head-set has just become realy wobbly when i went to turn the bolt to tighten the top cap it just spins and wont get any tighter or any looser and now i cant take the top cap off, which ever way i turn the bolt it just spins and dont do anything any ideas what i can do??

i cant believe you said that thats what its al about, if youre unsure then quit, you shouldnt even have to think about it?? its not a choice you ever like riding or you dont.... simple realy
