  2. one has to be fixed and one has to be freewheeling i.e fixed front sprocket and rear freehub front freewheel and fixed rear hub or front sprocket, fixed rear hub AND a freewheel on the back i think
  3. it was only a little corner shop the bike wouldnt fit in the door unfortunatly, we learn from our mistakes
  4. i think thats why he droped it and ran plus i think a trials bike is hard to get used to if youre not used to it, the position of bars, high bb rise, low gear ratio etc me 2
  5. when i was riding home from work the other night, i stoped at the shop to pick up some fags, and left my trials bike outside.. i was only 2 mins so i thought it would be ok, but as i opened the shop door i saw a young chav picking up my bike and trying to ride off on it i droped my bag and chased the little f**ker down the street, he droped the bike and ran, i stoped chasing him incase some else tried to take it i havnt seen him since but when i do hes dead!! lol just made me wonder if anyone else on the forum has had a simular experience? (or are you much clever then me and not leave it unlocked in one of the roughest areas in nottingham) what winds me up the most is that if they did get the bike they wouldnt even use it as its ment for and i wouldnt have a trials bike xx
  6. i live in nottingham where super cycles is based and there the main distributor for onza thats how i got in to trials, then i just went down to them when i wanted something different never even heard of tartybikes until a few years later, but theres nowt wrong with onza framess so i keep going back i think the frame, headset and zona forks were £250ish?
  7. yes it is mate yeah used nitromors then primed it, painted it and then laquerd it my early grafitti days helped
  8. car paint from work mate in a 400ml aerosol can i sell it to garages and workshops in nottingham but my boss lets me have it for free i can make any colour off any car yh i strip the paint down first
  9. i thought a grind was to make the rim rough so the pads dont slip? and tar is sticky so it makes the pads stick to the rim.. both helping the pads to stay put it is summer?

  12. it was pretty badly scratched so i thought id strip it and give it a fresh look ive got a colour in mind for when i do it again.... its just like getting a new bike, as i get bored pretty quick i no i shouldnt but i love the smell of spray paint ive rebled the brake in the bath and its epic defo orange, with that rim tape

  15. sainsburys carrier bag water bled no leaks i did that, didnt work, so the tar is on to help, which it does
  16. i had no tar on the rim atall, ive put tar on to see if it helps which it does but still wont hold loads of noise though
  17. since ive changed from front disc to front magura ive regreted it ever since the front brake dont hold alot of people run front magura or vee so i must be doing something wrong? can someone please tell me there set-up so i can do something about mine as its winding me up my set-up: echo tr rim brake rock pads trial-tech square hole rim (med grind + tar) it just judders but doesnt hold thanks xx
