i'll be going up there more often as we get into summer so i'll give you a shout to let you know when i'm going up. I live in keighley but i go up some weekends
tensiles are pretty good, they're cheap and long lasting. If ur willing to spend more go for the White Industries ENO http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/category.php?id=16
front disk are deffinatly more popular. Avid bb7's are are great if your looking for a cheap one - £55. You can't go wrong; easy set up, no bleeding/re-bleeding, all round a brilliant brake.
this may seam a pointless and unhelpful answer but it's just down to practice. It will become second nature after a while, you wont have to think about it.
I know rock blues are brilliant pads but I was wondering what the greens are like if anyone has tried them out? I have used the search but nothing much has turned up. Please give me your review if you have used them.
i hadn't herd of them till today, i was out ridin nd one of my mates said he was using them, he said they're pretty good so i thought i might get some and see what they're like i assume it's spelt "phat"
yes!!!!!!! one of my mates who preferes street went up to shipley, first time riding natural properly and he was just as good at natural as he is street.
i go for either rock pads - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2077 or if your willing to spend a bit more, heatsink reds which are well worth their money - http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/?p=brakepads#hmag
personally i prefere street but also like the odd bit of natural now and again, it's mainly personal preferences. I agree with you that natural is harder and needs more stamina, balance and overall skill. Basically it's down to what your prefere.
id suggest: blue rock pads - brilliant alround pads http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2077 or if you want real top quality performance some heatsink reds - brilliant bite in all conditions http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/?p=brakepads#hmag
