Oh really. Where are you living?

I knew from this topic title it was going to be a pathetic one however I must interject; No. Most 'good' laptop ram is 1067 MHz DDR3 nowadays. It's a shame it runs Windows though. If you installed OS X on to it and got rid of the whole external casing so it doesn't look tacky, bulky and generally gash, it'd be an ok computer I guess.

You sure about the 28 day thing? I was under that impression too but wanted to check. I went through a speed camera near Devils Bridge in North Yorkshire when I was following my mate. He went through at about 80 and I managed to brake down to about 60-65. He says it flashed him on his motorbike but I didn't see if it got me. That was about 3 months ago now. We've both got small number plates on which could (I guess?) make a difference but maybe we were super lucky and it had no film in? Good job if that's the case as I've already got 6 points and any more would KILL me!

T-f Car Meet V93 - October 11th - Rock Of Gibraltar
nc7r replied to Prawny Baby's topic in Chit Chat
I mean big sports motorbikes, not bicycles. -
I currently work for Apple Retail as a Mac Genius. I got the job as career progression internally, moving from a Specialist job role. I'm moving to M&S in a couple of months on their Graduate trainee management scheme, in a store near Leeds. That's for twelve months as my third year in University. The interview process for M&S was extremely hard, a full day's grilling with 5 different tasks, testing a range of your skills from analytical time report writing, to giving employee feedback and criticism. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from a well respected high street retailer, who are well known for their excellent training programs. That's about it really

Can someone summarise? I don't want to read 7 pages Where and when. Are bikes allowed? -
Kinda depends on how much you want to spend. Those Sennheiser ones are pretty good, not a bad price. I've got some V-Moda ones which are really amazing sound quality but poor build quality, i'm on my 5th or 6th pair unfortunately. However they did ship the last pair straight from America rather than me having to return them so I have one pair of working and one pair of broke. I've also got some of the new Apple in-ear ones which sound alright but are a bit pricy for my liking. The remote is sweet but it's a shame the volume up and down isn't supported on the iPhone, only the Nano and something else. Not much of a help but might be worth looking in to either of those. If you buy the V-Modas and return them closed box I'll send you my old headphones which you can return to the US for replacements.

Don't know if I'm too late or not but they won't do anything. It's not their place to even look at what the content is on the drive, they are just looking at the hardware for a warranty claim and replacement / repair. They won't say a thing, don't worry.

As long as you're connected to the internet and you're copying from an official CD then it will (should) get all the details available and fill them out for you. If it's a copied CD you might have problems, although as said before, you can try force it to get track names for a particular album but if when the CD has been burnt it's added an extra second or taken a second off the track lengths, it won't match up and thus won't return a match.

Uninstalling and re-installing your iTunes doesn't erase your music. Nick

Hey I've been out of the trials scene for quite a few years now, but want to grab a bike to get to and from Uni and mates a little quicker. I'm not gonna be riding any trials on it, more street riding so a single speed will be okay. I guess maybe a dirt bike could be a possibility but I'm thinking rigid all over, no front suspension. Decent brakes aren't a must as I'll probably just get a rear Hope and maybe take the front one off. Looking to spend about 350/400 max. Could be new or second hand but second hand has gotta not be scratched up like a motherf.. Any help you could give would be wickid. I remember from a while back the Specialized P3 was a mean machine but not sure where they've all got to now. eBay finds none! Thanks again, Nick.

Cheers for the heads up and nice words I actually sold my MacBook Pro a few weeks back to a dude over facebook for £800. I think it was a bit of a bargain for him and okay deal for me because it was just sat on my floor. If you're using a MacBook for photography I think you'll be fine, especially with 4GB of ram. I've got the 2.4GHz unibody MacBook and it's fine with that kinda stuff. I've got it hooked up to a 24" Samsung external monitor too. Differences aren't that big between the MacBook and MacBook Pro mainly screen size, graphics cards and processor clock speed.

Do you not think that it's just so much effrot texting girlfriends though. I mean, I'm single and go to Uni in Sheffield but have been seeing a girl back home quite a bit. I just lose effort sometimes though. I mean when I'm with her it's all good, I really like her, but it's so much effort having to like check she's okay every f**king day. urgh! I've just got better things to do and more important things to concentrate on it seems. Maybe it's just me.. Although I'm home for tonight and she's coming to pick me up in 20 mins haha.. -
For £200 I'd go for a Nixon. I had one before I got my Tag and it was spot on until the clasp broke, but I did use it for sport every day and had it for about 2 years. Upgraded to my Carrera a few months ago though. Nixon!
