  1. Ive just started to ride again. I actually am 25 though. Have Fun!
  2. Hes 30! Wow, I thought he was younger than that! He definatly looks it. A very well built site by the looks of it! Nice.
  3. Good lad! Dont give up you're going to be an impressive rider! I noticed a couple of Southampton spots on there, are you local to the South Coast?
  4. If I ever get out riding in Abingdon! I recived 'Chainspotting' on DVD today as I lost my old VHS copy when moving house. You can watch a proper bike video now!
  5. I use Coust pads on an Avid Ultimate rear Vee. It has a decent honk and very good hold. The problem Im finding is it is a little more spongy than Id like. Is this due to the cable flexing to much? Will it bed in to be ok? I always used to run Maggies so Im new to this Vee business!
  6. Great stuff, wish I was there.
  7. So....I've been out of riding for quite a few years and I just wanted to see how things have progressed... I've tried searching for odds and ends but cant find quite what Im looking for. I'm basically after any world records for trials moves...hooks in particular but also drops, gaps etc...pictures and video links would be a real bonus! Whos done the biggest?! Thanks!
  8. I have an Avid ultimate on the rear of my Czar. Great brake so far using Coust pads from Heatsink. The hold is awesome.
  9. Slice of toast, cold beans on top with grated cheddar on top of the beans. Its like an edible plate with beans and cheese. I fricking love it.
  10. Old School Skylines are my number one cars of all time. Id kill for one....
  11. I would love to tag along to this. Dont think I can make it though, Ill probably be riding in Southampton. Ill talk to the GF....
  12. Holy Thread Revival!! Any idea where I can get hold of 'Mr Potts' and is he still machining 20T bash rings for middleburns??
  13. Nice vids of a very talented rider! I did cringe at the bails aswell. Ouuuuuuuuuuuuch. One critisism though.......tight jeans blow. I cant understand why youd want to restrict yourself so much with clothing, especially in the crown jewels department! Get some proper slacks on and you'll be riding bigger stuff in no time!
  14. Probably a good place to start, anything you can recommend??
  15. So Ive had my stock Czar short built for a fortnight now, Ive been out on a couple of rides just relearning techniques and regaining my balance on things. It is a stunning bike to ride and I love it to bits, its now starting to feel like my bike. One thing I have felt is how hard it is to pull the front end up for rolling bunny hops, blunts, and manuals. Does anyone know any reasons why this should be the case? When Im doing pedal hops or gaps and just back hopping it feels superb, plenty of control and the front end feels very light and manoeuvrable. So when the front end is already up or you use a pedal kick to get it up it works perfect, when you just ride and pull up it feels very heavy. Am I just unfit and not used to the extra 3 stone on me, is the geo wrong or have i lost the technique for doing it?! The relevant parts are Echo tough bars, TMS welded stem 120mm with a 30 degree rise, Fatty R forks and a Czar Short frame.... A pic if that helps... Alex
  16. I dont know why I felt compelled to reply on this thread because I dont know Oli. I just had to mention the had had a smile on his face in every photo, that says alot. Rest In Peace chap.
  17. Amen to that! There are some stunning artists out there, just do some searching! )
  18. Maverick Charlie Iceman Goose Viper Jester Cougar Wolfman Slider Merlin Sundown Hollywood Stinger Chipper Sprawl IMO SunDown FTW!!
  19. Ive had them for years, I built them onto my original trials bike about six or seven years ago. Are they pretty sort after now?
  20. Black Sun Empire, Concord Dawn, Chris. Su, Skc. A few of my faves. I've loved BSE for years. Im not a huge fan of UK stuff, I think there is much deeper drum and bass to be found in (Northern) Europe and New Zealand/Aus way.
  21. They arnt anywhere near bedded in yet but in the 20 or mins I was riding around in the car park last night they were getting rapidly better As for the bash gaurd Im undecided to be honest, I quite like it the way it is at the moment. Two factors control me on this one....1) I like to have my oldschool heritage somewhere on this modern steed....2)Ive spent waaaaaaaay to much already so that Middleburn one will be fine for now. (Thanks for moving the topic for me to Bike pics for me.)
  22. Seems fine to be honest, I was all ready to have some gears and a rear derailleur but I was told single speed is the way forward. Fine with me! I bought a tensioner but when the chain was put on it didnt need it. Chain tension seems ok, not to tight, not to loose. Its just right so Im told! Hope it doesnt decide to come off....
