Well I dont know a massive amount about different trials brands, coming more from mountain biking, but as far as I gather there's a guy called Deng Qiang who owns loads of different companies. The companies make frames and components that range from looking similar, to identical to one another other. Well, the frames are mostly different, but if you look down tartys' rear hub section, theres the exact same hub with Adamant, echo, Czar, Gu, and Zoo! written on it. Same with headsets and other stuff. Why cant he just stick with one brand to make stuff under? I understand why someone would want a Echo hub to go with their shiny new Echo frame or something, but why so many different bike companies? Not that theres anything wrong with it, just something I was wondering about.

My Base built up with a mix of old downhill parts and new bits from work. I used to have a T-bird years ago( the lx brake and levers were from that actually) but thought I'd get back into trials for something I could just go out my door and ride. Too bad its getting too frosty and icy where I am to ride much now. And my home made tensioner: part of a stabilizer bracket, bushings and bolt from a knacked tourney mech, the packaging off a sram gripshift, and some electrical tape. I might get a proper spring for it but you can get elastic bands anywhere! It almost runs without a tensioner anyway but I don't want to risk it eh
