  2. Yeah, hilarious ain't I? On a serious note, I mean practise for Maths, English, Mechanical/Electrical Comprehension that sort of stuff?
  3. So, a job I want has got an aptitude test to get in and I NEED some practice, if you guys knew of anything it would be awesome? Long shot I know but hey ho... Cheers
  4. Quite possibly the most truthful thing I've read on here.
  5. That was amazing, cant beleive all that happened, and so much more...
  6. Legend. Why the hell couldn't I find that. Cheers.
  7. Hey guys, tried to find it in search but couldn't seem to see anything, soooo... How would I go about changing it, I understand I have to PM someone? But not sure who... Cheers guys (I realize how annoying these repeated topics are)
  8. In the not so many years I've been riding I don't think I've seen a video of this guy thats impressed as such, and this video with all its ramble of spirtituality just bores me, and from the looks of it everyone else. As it's been said previous if he'd bang out a video of him actually riding and his 'progression' which I've personally seen none of, maybe he'd then be able to ramble on in the background if he's so involved with that side of things, surely his sponsors must recognize some sort of skill fade, especially with how much trials has progressed in recent years, I reckon he needs a good shake up and slap to show what riding he can actually do in a proper bike, not just him at shows riding along a wall. Thats my two cents anywho...
  9. The first note had me in stitches... found my new ringtone...

    Tar

Let water run into the hole. In winter it'll get turned to ice. Ice will expand hole. Crack around the hole. Cause pothole. Cause damage to car suspension. Put up price of road tax. Or: http://www.diy.com/n...noCookies=false
  11. Yeah, I've been in a few that are quite bad, got to say though, the worst one I've been in some guy told me my stem was wrong and that I needed a really short stem with no rise like a DH stem to get the most out of the bike (it's a Limey 3, and at the time it had something like a 125 x 30) I said that'd be silly, he tried so hard to sell me one for like 5 minutes, it was just after he closed his mouth I walked off. Quite ignorant of me yes, but I couldn't stand there much longer listening to his dribble. And besideds, a stem is fairly personal preference, to say I'd get more out of a 'customized-to-my-own-needs' bike is just riduclous.
  12. This. And It's a perfect size, the bezel(?) around the edges makes a perfect space for you thumb to grip/rest as well.
  13. I've been running these for quite some time now using tar (boo-hiss) and love them, works amazingly well in the dry, obviously. Cant think of a time I've cleaned them or the rim because of the tar getting wet and what not, maybe just don't clean them and see how that goes, and have you tried tar? Unless your riding in the rain all the time and dont mind the noise, I dont see why everyone complains. (awaits tar hating replies...)
  14. Yes, you would need new parts; cables for definite and a few extra braze-ons for the frame. But it would be very harmful to your braking power, unlesss you went for hydraulic gyro like the Atomlab one, no idea how well they perform though. http://www.tweekscyc...be-spacers-25mm
  15. Why the hell do videos like this not skyrocket, by far the best video and riding I've seen in a long time, such incrredible talent!
  16. I'm manager at a local bike shop. when I'm not fixing or selling bikes I'm normally messing around with mine or trying to find random (sensible) stuff to order in, and most of my free time is spent on this or watching videos 'reasearching the market'... It's rather fun...
  17. Very nice. I wonder if we'll see any more wooden parts?...
  18. If you're having trouble finding the 'sweet spot' then for me personally, I found that if I did the rocking horse thingy to get the wheel up and then keep pulling back until you eventually fall of the back, being careful not to fall on your back of course, then you get a feel for when the 'sweet spot' is going to be, experiment with different body positions as well.
  19. As long as it's a 3 speed, any other speed and you might as well get the Shimano or SRAM designed one as they perform much better.
  20. Have you tried tyre pressure? I realise this sounds stupid but; I put about 5 psi more in and the bike was TOTALLY different, I could gap further, hop better and higher, and just generally a more improved feel, deffinatly think that changing the setup works better first! Or this is old news...
  21. Excuse my ignorance, but how does a laser sighted fishing rod help matters?
