  1. I've been pretty lucky as of late, no breakages at all really, just to annoy my mates. Snapped forks about a year ago, thats all I can think of.
  2. Venom are also suposed to be good.
  3. In regards to the crackling, I think its the electronics. I get the same thing when I switch pickups on my guitar, should sort it really. Take off the pick guard and have a look for any dodgy connections, I very much doubt its the amp.
  4. I seem to find wah's a bit boring. Delay is a lot more versatile and cooler than flange. Whats the overdrive like on your amp? Tube distortions are usually nice. I was gonna go get pics of my stuff, then my camera broke whilst recording at band practice, perfect.
  5. My pedal boards better. Big bit of MDF, with a block underneath to tilt the pedals a bit, covered in black tape for some reason, multiplug taped down, pedals velcro'ed on. How sexy.
  6. Whats wrong with learning your parts like drummers, bassists and guitarrists? I've always wondered why other musicians always have to read music as they're playing, even in rock bands any pianists or brass people have sheet music there.
  7. I just got an Ibanez DE7 Delay pedal today, its the tits. I tried that out and a £45 AXL one, they quality difference was amazing.
  8. I want your head and cab..... My Peavey isn't enough, and its not mine, its my guitar teachers, and the other guitarrist in my band is buying it for £40 off him when I finish with it, so, erm, yes, give me your stack. For sex.
  9. And wheres the rest of the pic Mark? Sounds pretty damn creamable though.
  10. :"> :"> :"> Thanks, its seriously the best thing I've ever played, the neck is sooooo thin, the action is incredibly low, cleans are amazing and full on the neck pickup and distortion is nice and trebly on the bridge. And it hasn't gone out of tune for 3 weeks (Y) Thats a rather sexy bass too, I don't really like the look of P-Bass's, Ibanez's etc are a lot nicer. I want a bass just cos everytime my bassist comes out with some random tune, it sounds so much cooler than on guitar. Ah well, one day I guess.
  11. Heres my guitar. Lack of camera means I have got pics of my full setup, it goes something like Ibanez RG1550 ==> Bespeco Weeper Wah ==> Boss MT-2 Metalzone ==> Zoom GFX707 ==> Peavey Envoy amp I also have a Squier Telecaster lying around and I wanna bass guitar, but I'm too poor to buy one.
  12. I've never thought of it about untightening towards the handlebar, makes it simpler to explain I spose. Pedals are the opposite, tighten towards handlebars.
  13. Ah yeah, forgot that Ad, I've always assumed it was fairly obvious so meh.
  14. Ignore the above post, it makes no sense. On the drive side, turn it clockwise to undo. On the non drive side, turn it anticlockwise to undo
  15. Try and bodge a nut and bolt so the bb tool won't fall off the bottom bracket, or use a quick release with washers, that could work. Put spanner on tool, make sure the bike is secured, now stamp on the spanner, repeat.
  16. Move over Fr!ka's sister. We have a new champion. The fact that she was wearing a bikini really did help.
  17. Now that was a f**king good FAQ. Do you still do your hub servicing Adam? I know sending it as warranty return avoids tax, is there anything else?
  18. I must say Mart, she has rather large breasticles for a 13 year old.
  19. Would like to point out I have slept with Raub Himself. Feel free to be jealous.
  20. I don't have a clue who she is, but she gets my thumbs up ;)
  21. Business ICT Media Maths Should be alright.
  22. Yeah, agreeing with Mark despite me having no gig experience at all, at my first band practice, having never met all the other musicians there, everything just clicked, we just all sensed when to go into the chorus etc (no words at the time), and just the feeling of while your playing with everyone, just thinking "God damn, this rocks, and we're making it". Its pretty cool, totally different to anything you can feel on a bike.
  23. LMFAO When your bike feels superlight and everything is effortless When you spend ages searching on purevolume.com for bands then find one that really kicks ass. When playing guitar and everything just goes right, and you seem to compose loads of stuff and your fingers move in perfect rhythm, its great. EDIT: On his request, all read below
  24. Kings of Leon at a guess, some type of new indie band anyway I think. 3/10 because I don't like any of these new indie bands at all
