A few weeks ago, my brother went on my computer, went on some gaming sites so it seems, and has lumbered with with 5497895762396 spyware programs. Noticable ones are "gimmygames", "freeprod" and "findthewebsiteyouneed.com". I keep deleting these, but they come back in a few minutes. Whenever I'm on firefox, whatever page I'm on changes to some random advert site, it does this every few minutes. So far I'm running Ad-Aware and Spybot search and destroy, they find things and delete them, but it doesn't fix my problem. Please help TF, I don't want all the hassle of backing up hundreds of tv shows on my ipod again.

Also, do not get an acrylic guitar, I know they look exciting but will sound like total wank, unless maybe they have active EMG's in, which they won't.

I wanted that, but couldn't afford it. Post pics of the ESP, it's taken you long enough to get another guitar.

They just look like cheapo crappy guitars on Ebay. I'd recommend a Squier, Epiphone or an entry level Ibanez, they will be much higher quality.

Ernie Ball strings sound super nice out of the packet, but lose their new sound fairly quickly, in a few weeks. D'Addario sound more metallic out of the packet, not really as good as Ernie Ball, but I find their new sound lasts a lot longer, I've never broken one as well, but I am a fairly light player. I haven't used Gibson strings before.

What Gibson have you got?

It's a fairly short scale too, so I don't really have to move my hand around the neck as much as reaching frets is easier. Very swish stuff anyway.

It cost £399 from Sound Control, which I thought was pretty nice for the money. The necks a lot slower than the Ibanez due to it being painted and thicker, the action isn't too different. It sustains a lot longer than my Ibanez and because of the lack of floyd, I can switch tunings really quick. It's got 3 pickup postions and a coil tap on all of them too, so its really versatile. Because its mahogany it sounds darker and more rawr than the Ibanez. I'll be using the Ibanez for soloing and faster stuff, and anything with a whammy bar, and I love the single coil on my Ibanez for quiet acoustic songs. Perfect combo really.

My new toy has arrived Schecter C1-Plus, mahogany body with flame maple top, Duncan Design pickups, set neck, string through, Grover tuners. Plays really nicely, and is a bit of a rarity over here. And the rest of my collection, in order, Fender acoustic, Ibanez RG550, Schecter C1-Plus, Vintage bass. Plays really nice, and a lot different to my Ibanez, which is what I was looking for. Looks f**king amazing too I think.

From listening on metronomes you really can't tell the difference between 32th triplets at 16th triplets at that speed. Its just sounds like: "buuuuuuuuuuuur" "buuuuuuuur" Guitar pro can't even keep up with the speed the notes are changing.

Try getting Guitar Pro or Power tab, they might go that fast.

I had the Blackspire one and it was really nice, lightwight, looked great and never bent a bit, I'd recommend it.
