At the moment I'm aiming towards being a music producer, so I try to protect my ears the best I can. I have my ipod at about 60% volume with noise cancelling headphones and I don't see why you would ever need it louder.

You might have set the sample rate off. You want it as 44.1kHz, or 41000, however its written, as thats the cd sample rate. If audacity is set to 48 or even up to 92kHz, it'll play a lot faster and be all sped up.

I really would recommend trying to get a tube amp over a solid state one, just sounds so much nicer, plus, the only big band I know of that uses solid state amps out of preference is Slipknot, and well, that says it all really. Another vote for the Ashdown.

I think what he was trying to say is the kit lens on the Canon's are terrible, which they are. Go to Jessops and try a few out, I personally prefered the feel of Nikon's, Canon's feel tiny, but if you do get Canon, see if it's viable to buy it body only then get a Sigma or Tamron lens with it. Also, the 400d has 10 megapixels, which is nice if your planning on making big prints, if your not its not that useful at all, and a dust cleaner thing. Personally I don't think its worth the extra money, but those features might be very handy for you if your shooting in dusty conditions and want more megapixels.

Check out Raul Midon for a similar sorta style thats more famous, lots of flicking strings and hitting guitar and stuff, brilliant musician.

Tv's have a shit resolution compared to PC screens, so if your planning on hooking it up to your PC, don't expect it to look too good.

Anyone know how to choose what programs start up when you start the computer? Because currently I've got loads of bollocks in the bottom right corner I don't want but can't figure out how to stop them from automatically starting up.
