Yea the non drive side crank is prone to becoming loose, which eventually can lead to rounding off of the crank arm. Tighten your cranks and see if that makes a difference.
I purchased a previous model of these and i was not impressed with the quality. Yes they were probably the grippyest shoes on platform pedals i have worn and very light. But i found that within months the sole started to work loose of main body. Personally i would invest in a good mountain biking shoe. Rather than a trials specific one. Its up to you and hope I have been of some help
