XH558 on its flight today also flew over the non airworthy Vulcan (XL426) at Southend Airport. I was working in Leigh and missed it though Will get to see it at RIAT though so all is good. I've decided if I win the Euromillions on Tuesday I will donate a few million to keep it flying!

I can't help you much but if you look at the apprenticeships normally there is a like a profile somewhere on the website where it's kind of like a diary of the apprentices week, or they have a blog set up for them so you can find out what's it's like. Other than that I'd recommend working in the aerospace engineering industry I enjoyed it! And there's a few apprenticeships available for them, mainly Virgin Atlantic, monarch, BA and ATC Lashams. Sorry couldn't help too much

Had a group interview today had to do the thing where you make a structure from spaghetti and marshmallows, and also the introduce the person next to you task. Couple of hours later got a call and the job!

Ahh okay thanks got confused. Anyone reccomend a decent tar remover or will halfords stuff be fine?

I know people on here use Iron X for their wheels, does this get rid of little specs of tar, and can you use it on bodywork? Or am I better off getting a tar remover of some sort?

I like how Echo have CNC'd the side of the pedal like that bit on the cheese grater that does thin slices that no one ever uses. That is truly horrific considering they are platforms and not cages good effort!

Uh huh same engines that was in Concorde but a non after burning version. Heres my vid from last year, the noise is amazing!

I've seen it at the Tattoo and at Farnborough both great days out! For a non after burning aircraft the noise is insane I've got a video ill put up on here later of it taking off last year. Shame that so much money is needed to keep it flying and it's mainly from donations.
