On a Yamaha 250 two stroke we are pretty certain we have a broken piston ring. The garage says he can change it without taking the head off as he can remove the barrel bolts and slide the barrel and head up and off. The head gasket is around £50 and he says it will save disturbing it does that sound right? It is oldish and we think that there will be little bore damage.
