    Pedals

haha i am completely the opposite to 'flower'. i would recommend you don't buy expensive pedals, they simply don't last and aren't worth the money. v12's and v8's last just as long as a set of wellgo v8 copies that cost about a £10. i never break the bearings, however the studs either get punched back into the pedal wrecking the threads or they wear down. the v12's punched through the threads. i am more happy to buy a new set of pedals every 6 months at £10 than replace a £40 quid set! your other option is vp's equally cheap but i just dont get on with them.
  2. thats some serious shit. the car crash things are just sick. as for that train poor kid gets moshed. proper sick shit. can't help but watch it though.
  3. just offer your mates lifts. far better driving somebody you know home, than some drunken pisshead throwing up in the back of your car. surely you can get atleast 4 car loads full going in different directions. plus mates will usually be generous, and it keeps you out of any trouble with the police.
  4. smo that seems expensive. im with norwich union. paying £598.99 for a 4 year old 1.6 206. (insurance group 6) in my dads name,he does have a large no claims bonus, with me as a named driver (i have been driving less than a year, and am 17 years old) thats for 14 months (2months were chucked in free) fully comprehensive with no claim protected. used confused to find it out, bit or an arse but definately worth the hassel, i saved 400 from the renewal quote. saying all that had i insured it in my name it was hard to find a sub £1800 quote.
  5. few photos of my favourite photos of ot and ceasr. not taken by me but wish they were!
  6. you cant compare a bugatti and an F1 car they are designed for totally different things. its like comparing a bike designed for the road and a mountain bike. granted both are designed to go as fast as be it humanly possible, but they have different limiting factors. the conditions put on a mountain bike mean it will never be as quick. An F1 car has far superior aerodynamics suspension etc set specifically for each test track. to make a car that come even half as quick as it, that you can use on the road, any weather, any time and expect to last for 20 years is a masterpeice. F1 tyres last for 70 miles! these are designed to do far more than that. crapping that much engineereing into a road going car is unbelievable. it has 4 turbo's and 10 radiators! as well as this it is designed to take two adults comfortably round. not some F1 driver wedged in lying flat on his arse. in my mind it is a hell of an achievement. i much prefer i company lose 100 million on producing a car like this that pushes the boundaries of road cars than waste hundreds of millions on F1. after all these companys make so much money they really dont have to worry about it. dont forget this car has passed the same vw tests as your average vw golf! whether it is a in the same group as concorde etc i guess will depend on what follows it??
  7. bullshit :P say you have been offered a good deal from elsewhere and unless they can meet it you will be tempted to leave. say you have other members of your family who will also change. and haggle! im mananaged to cut my contract form 20 ish down to £14 a month and i got a D600 when they first came out for £60 quid. they offered me far less till i started to complain :P seems to be the one thing you can actually haggle for in todays world (yet i try with most things!).
  8. if there is an increase in demand for platinum then the demand curve shifts right (ie higher price and increased quantity.) if palladium is made from platinum, then the cost of production of pallidium will be higher. ie for each price a smaller quantity will be supplied by firms. (less firms will be efficient enough to supply the goods at that price) this is represented by a leftward shift in the supply curve on a d + s diagram for palladium.
  9. is platinum a compliment or substitute good? if its a substitute in increase in demand of platinum leads to a fall in the demand of palladium. ie demand curve of pallidium shifts left (fall in equilibrium quantity and price) or vice versa
  10. don't think it was a problem with the money being sent taking the time more like the day it was sent . i think he wanted it a few days earlier so he could order new cranks, not 100% sure. either way he aint one to rip anyone off so i wouldnt worry.i will tell him to give you a buzz if i see him today.
  11. yer im best mates with him. very trustable guy and he won't rip you off. think he was a bit worried about not getting the money for the cranks (presume that was you) but i think he got it so should be there in a few days i would of thought.
  12. free weights feel alot heavier than isolated machines. but how much easier are free weight machines and i feel that you can push yourself abit harder. especially as most of the time im at the gym on my own. i often do my first two sets on free weights then last set on the machine just so i push abit harder without worrying about dropping it lol i find i lift about 20kgs more on a machine than free weights when bench pressing. also the bar at the gym with no weights on ain't exactly light! also 5 days a week is some fair dedication i just can't be arsed lol.
  13. do you not feel shit if you look back and know you can do something alot better? im not going to pretend that i work hard because i don't compared to alot. but i make damn sure that i put the work in the weeks before exams. f**king good feeling knowing that you proved the teacher wrong who said you would never do it. i guess i work because i know that if i dont i will regret it. like this year i need 3 A's to get the course that i want and i know that that course will lead to a shit hot job. i have two options dick about or nuckle down. i honestly believe if you cut the crap in your life such as watching tv then you can still go out as much and have just as much free time just by using it properly.
  14. :P--> QUOTE(Josh B @ Oct 10 2005, 04:23 PM) ← I was well impressed with that lad on the echo team 05 doing them 180's and shizniz on the bollards. Joe B is preety sorted and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Now i realize i need to get alot better on my bike. Everyone rode at at impresize level. peace out :- Josh b : wearing a gimp mask on the blackmumba rear red koxx rim (Y) woo that was me :P shame i can't match the gapping, tapping and sidehopping of some of those riders, so i try to ride bit more creative. i had i proper good ride though was good to ride in a big group and everyone seemed friendly, cheers to the guy who lent me a pump and another guy on a t-pro who lent me some beastly tyre leavers. ended up going to the playhouse earlier to get away from the crowds abit, so we had the best of both worlds. rob (echo team. red profile)
  15. add me and tom from skipton should be there about 11. looking forward to it
  16. if it is just dietary supplements, i don't see the problem. not that i have done or ever think i will, however if i was taking it more seriously i probably would look into it. seems a bit O.T.T for a sport as i do as a past time for fun.
  17. quality vid matt. reminds me of the summer thats nearly over :turned: funny watching yourself on video. anjoyed the editting as well. good effort(y) give us a buzz sometime if you want to ride somewhere maybe leeds sometime ? if not give us a buzz when your next back from uni. rob
  18. me and a mate from skipton should be there as long as the weathers good. <_< train gets in at 11 ish
  19. one of the key things to think about is the number of reps and sets you are doing. But also importantly the length of time between each set. for size and strength i was told to look for between 1min - 2 mins between each set for just strength over 2 minutes and for endurance muscles such as stomach muscles 30 seconds with more reps. also unless you are doing c.v work not too important to worry about your heart rate. the key is to work each muscle to the max then allow it time to repair. at least 2 -3 days. try to use free weights as they do work you alot harder than gym machines. also technique is key don't sacrifice your technique to lift heavier weights. you want to eat loads of protein. chicken, eggs, tuna etc. and dont expect it to happen over night, for most people it takes alot of time and effort.
  20. quite possibly the most ironic think i have ever read. yep you are naturally clever (Y) What you need to do is find a life; you come on a forum (to a sport you don’t even participate) just to enter a few comical lines like ‘I like riding a willy now and then.’ And your 18! Grow up, the word Willy was funny when you were in primary school.
  21. ha ha ! can you not see that not trying makes you even thicker ! wow lets waste 2 years, very constructive. oh and btw i done my a-s levels got 4 A's and a B. predicted 4 A's at alevel, but spose you too clever to bother because you are a comic genious, you can say cock and still find it funny. you need to grow up.
  22. wow im going to bow down to you f**king smart one. as i thought you are as funny as you are clever.
  23. Care to explain how my spelling is a level zero? Lets all laugh at how funny monkey is, he can say naughty words like cock, f**king hilarious.
  24. your sense of humour is about as funny as cancer, i say leave and find a www.iridecock-forum.co.uk you seem to enjoy it.
