i have a fair bit of pressure on me, and im not fully commited to the decision i have made. i have chose to go to uni however i made a poor second choice and realised that i won't be going to my insurance choice. This leaves me with the pressure to get into the uni course i want, at AAA. I am fine in two subjects but struggling like mad in chemistry to get what i need. i also know that if i dont get it i will be absolutely gutted, not just because i didn't get in, but also because i know i will have failed at something i know deep down i can achieve. i don't want to be in a position when im older knowing that i have under achieved. on the plus side if i don't get in i will be working for six months then going to australia and new zealand. i wish i could work in a shop the rest of my life and be satisfied. But working in one at the moment at weekends is quite frankly bollocks. i guess i know that if i get the degree i want, in economics, i will reap the rewards in the future, be that with good pay and job opportunites. plus i can't wait for the chance to go to uni and enjoy myself. i have no worries paying off the debt in the future. qualifications get you a long way especially in the path i am taking. having said that they are definately not for everyone, many of my friends have left school and are doing well. i guess it come down to what job you want to do at the end. Don't waste your time doing a degree if you don't need it.

i have a ecto team long. i choose it because i find it far more comfy to ride than a short one. the extra length seems to have little effect on my riding (i can still bunnyhop etc) but i find ups to front wheel are alot easier. and i can tap it which i cant on shorter ones. the sort ones feel really cramped to mine when i ride them now. stocks just don't feel right to me. the wheels are always massive! and the low long and silver brigade always feel like bloody boats! i can't seem to get the accuracy on one, and although it maybe 'cheating' i dont see the point in riding something that i find more difficult to progress on? i cant suggest a bike to you, but all i can say is make sure you ride a few different sizes before you make your mind up.

'combat' trousers all the way!!! t.k max cheap! and quality stuff. bigger and looser the better!

sorry to sound negative but who in there right mind will buy a brand new brand trials bike, off somebody with limited experience in trials (riding for 4 months?) and is 13 years old? i know i sure as fook wouldnt be handing over my money. my advice is at your age enjoy riding for what it is without worrying about trying to make a frame company or hunt for sponsorship. at your age you should be out improving and enjoying yourself! i know i sure wouldn't want the hassel of trying to organise what you are trying to do at the age of 13! unless you care to notice, must other frame companies get af oot in the door by having well respected people behind them. ashton... hermance's dad.... ot pi.... even the importers of frames are well respected.... the savages.... adam and dave at tarybikes... these people know so much and i would much prefer to spend my cash investing in there expertise, in the knowledge that there frames have been tested by world champions etc..

its not suprising at all that he is only paid one dollar, many executives get only minimal salarys, but huge share options paying vast dividens.

hats off to you on your efforts most people, including me, cannot be bothered. as i am from skipton i will ride if i am around, (i am away most of the summer though). i do however want to know what you want to achieve from a demo like this? what are you trying to advertise? unit trials? strikes me from your website you seem set on finding sponsors? to not be harsh but from the media on your website it seems as though you may struggle(vids seem good though(y) ) . to be honest i think you are much better concentrating on riding for fun. leave the demos to the people who do it commercially. if you do choose to do it maybe be link it into another event? local farmers market? sheep day ?? etc if you ever fancy a ride there are a fair few riders in skipton. give us a buzz.

Dilema - To Tell Insurance Company Or Not :-s
Hiltop replied to Joe Papasnap Maher's topic in Chit Chat
yerp body work cost a f**king fortune. as i and a couple of friends have found out! my mate drove into our gatepost and put a small dent in two panels. cost her £300 to fix and to be fair it was pathetic. saying that no doubt your insurance will go up, how big is your excess aswell -
yer quite a good film, i couldnt understand it fully though, i got the jist. didnt help that when we went to see it there was a fire alarm in the 15 screen multiplex, funny at first but f**king irritating after standing in the freezing cold!

i sat 3 economics modules; module 1 90/90 module 3 97/105 module 4 86/120 which will be retaken in the summer. plus i had 90/90 from last summer in module 2. last two module i need two c's to get an A overall. and got an A in the chemistry module i resat. taking it again in the summer though to try to bump up my marks making the harder A2 modules easier.... so i was very happy with my results.

mine does it. but only on one side. i have resorted to undoing the side that get stuck first then loosening the otherside. if not i guess you can just try hold the axel

ok so bash plate bolts both snapped in my frame after landing on a rail at a fair speed. drilled both bolts out but can see it is going to be an arse using a hellicoil on them. so basically can i keep my current cranks, these; (echo mod cranks 158) and my current sprocket; (echo) and use one of these. echo 7075 bashring. im asking because it doesnt look like there is much room on the thread of the crank for a bashring and a sprocket. cheers.

awsome video matt awsome day up addingham, bugger me it was cold though! loved seeing myself with all that white crap all over my arse. the dead arse lasted atleast 3 days lol! shame my brake froze and had to ride someone elses. video though is awsome. also like somebody else said these guys are hardcore. anyone who ventures up addingham in -3 degrees at midday has got to be a bit wrong in the head!!!

right basically i can switzerland squeeker, i want to take it too the next step and use my momentum instead of pulling back with you feet. but i just can't seem to keep the momentum and the balance at the same time. i manage the 180 and then role back about 50 cm before either dropping the rear wheel or the rear end spinning out. basically i want to know what sort of speed you approach it at, whether you use your front brake, how you position your body, and finally any techniques for rolling back straighter rather than curving like i seem to. cheers for any advice

i do believe ben slinger has been/ is trying this aswell. seems to work for motorbike trials. lampkin training days seem very popular. not for me personally though, for £60 i would expect more learning than i think i would get.
