was an awesome weekend! i really dont like the age rule of UCI, for that same reason i couldnt really compare how well i did considering uci dabs and biu dabs.. becos the uci course i rode was so much harder lol i still managed 3rd place though! with a score of 79.. where as i got 5th place in the BIU round with a score of 23.. there were more riders on sunday i suppose.. many thanks to dan angel for driving me and tim up there, and i think we might be coming up again in the short future along with tall rob, so if anyone wants to join us. feel free! must say though.. i think i have improved so much since koxx days :D all that wiskey has turned into energy!! whaha

hehe interesting, i am getting dob's soon, i am certain though that these echos have been the strongest i have had ever.. designed for the likes of neil T and criag lee.. Probably why i am finding it impossible to even get them buckled..

lol.. i really dont know then.. i am on both 20 and 26.. have absolutely shit tires on the 26, and do do fairly big gaps etc.. maybe ur tires are too soft? i am not sure.. i am still kinda unsure if u have the newest ones though. but if u only got them 4 months ago, they really should be

are you sure ur using the 07s? the newer models... because i have tried very hard to flat spot mine.. and its not happening..

i actually have an magura RB lever, let me know if u want to swap.. i am running it with a front disk.. so the disk version would be perfect for me

ones required for my magura threads, i want to keep the same bolt size... dont really want to drill out my clamps.. anyway! anyone! got a comp in the weekend would be great to get it sorted by then, at the moment its running with a jubeliee clip..

the angled drop outs arent as big a problem as you put it sponge, i have been able to deal with it fine, the only thing i worry about is the stress it puts on the rear hub, but everything is prefect at the moment. I can get the correct chain tension without much hassle. i have the 08 magura version, and have also owned the previous one, both were pretty similar imo, apart from the far lower seat tube, which i am guessing made the bike lighter without actually changing the geo much. Used the frame for about 6 months now, and my riding is at its best yet, have put it through a fair but of rampage, but i am not one to do massive drop gaps etc... the worse my bike would probably go through would be a competition. Although at the competition in koxx days, kenichi commented that if he were to need someone to test parts, he would give them Gonna be using the bike for the hookwoods weekend as well. i am also very interested in getting my hands on the disk frame, but deng has not been too good with emails. Anyway.. the 08 magura is a fine frame and is probably the strongest frame i have owned, for the money its definitely worth it. especially if ur like me and low on the drop gaps. I dont think you should expect a frame that is meant to be light to deal with big impacts. If u want that get a team i say. Thats the only reason i went for the light, and its suited me perfectly. my share..x

i like how things are negotiable, i too agree the categories are abit ridiculous... it should be some what similar to BIU, in that only seeded riders (extremely good riders) get to ride elite. But I suppose you don't have any seeded riders at the moment as such, in that case, couldn't you use those who have done well in the worlds? or even those who have been seeded into the BIU elite category. my input anyway shoudl be there both weekends.. hopefully be fit enough to go through both of them lol

no idea... waiting for summons.. could be alot.. apparnetly u need "permission" if u are going to be doing filming in a park.. and if u dont get this permission it is a reportable offence.. got fined for being in a restricted area riding bikes in restricted area filming in restricted area

werent too bad.. found a few good sheltered areas... mister joe hodgers smashed the recorded unicycle side hop over a bar lol.. by 2 cm i think it was good shit got a couple of fines though.. :|

that was beasty that! i was gonna say u were making some of it look too easy.. and that u werent pushing urself, but as u said not enough to ride lol.. bit of a shame really.! was dead impressed with that 360 for some reason, looked sweet as! mint video..! i reckon in some clips fliming could have been a bit closer though!

2 riders turned up! plus me three! considering the weather i think we had a very very good ride lol, could have stayed later i reckon, the weather was much better in the evening.. oh and i earned £10 from the public! :DD
