  1. That clip at 2:10 is hilarious!
  2. I just used a Stanley knife, once you get the technique right it gets fairly easy, it does blunt the blade fairly quickly though.

I've just read your comment Dan and thought "Ha! yes! I shall like that" Oh wait...
  4. 2 bolt stems are a good idea for saving weight but I couldn't be bothered with it, 4 bolt or K2 for me. Cheers Wilf

Wilfrid Turner, however still to this day I've never sent a selfie haha
  6. I cut every other knobble off of 5 tyres the other day, took rather along time haha, Didn't notice much difference but I do run my tyres quite hard...
  7. Yeah not ideal but it should be alright, I've ran one this short before without any problems.
  8. Thats a better idea because I've no idea where to go haha
  9. Why are Deng headset's such utter wank?!

  10. Maxxis Crossmark's are the shit, they roll so so fast for a tyre that could be used as a summer trail tyre.
  11. You up for a ride in Buxton Saturday or Sunday Dave?
  12. No sorry mate, mine is a totally f**cked 19" haha
  13. I know mate haha, I put it on for a laugh ages ago and just never got rid of it lol
  14. Just thought I would update you all about my bikes... Some decent pictures of my Patriot and Dirt Jump bike in my original thread linked below. First up is my 09 Echo Lite. Got some nice Trialtech forks for it to replace the SL's as I didn't want to snap a second set haha and got a matching rear brake. Yes it does look pretty gash with the silver stem but my black one is on my Zoo as this one won't fit because the steerer is too short at the moment. The brakes are soon to be anodised in Red... The spec is in my original thread http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/182080-my-new-ride-echo-lite-09-and-some-changes-to-other-bikes/ Next up is my Brakeless 2010 Zoo Lynx. This is what used to be my Speedrace used to be, changed quite alot since then! It has different forks, bars, stem, front wheel and soon to be rear wheel... I picked up a set of Echo SL hubs on SL rims for next to nothing and was hoping to bang them straight in this but the rear rim was just too knackered (don't worry he did tell me about this ) so I'm in the process of changing the rim right now. Its really just a bike I've built out of spare bits that I've picked up cheap but its got to the point now where its good enough to be a main bike Last up is something I built up the other night, I'm sure you can all work out what most of it is . After picking up the cranks on Ebay for £7, yes £7!! I realised I had nearly enough stuff for yet another mod! All I need for it now is a rear tube, pedals and a freewheel! All my bikes together... Yeah its getting a bit silly now...
  15. I've got one right here I'll just weigh it. Edit: 474g
  16. Thats real nice mate, a matching Trial Zone would really finish it off though
  17. Whats wrong with Monty cranks? Epic length and only a few grams heavier than the Echo SL's!

    echo lite 2013

Change the forks before you snap them mate
  19. i watched a mate do this going over a dirt jump, it snapped as he went up the take off yet he still managed to clear the jump and land it, with only one foot on... aha
  20. Yeah they advert has gone now, I seem to remember it said the crack was near the BB, I could very well be wrong though so don't hold me to anything just give it a good check over and it should be fine.

    The Angry Thread.

I did my Mod 1 on a CG (because my bike won't stop fast enough ) and it was pretty bad to ride, they've got more torque than my MZ so you can ride around in a more civilised fashion but wheres the fun in a bike that you don't have to scream everywhere lol. Yeah the brakes were good but I found the riding position awful, You're sat bolt up right, just feel like you're pirched on top of it. My MZ is much more comfortable. And the best bit, it was free! Thanks to Muely Muel.
  22. Yeah hopefully thats not the case aha, I'm sure though when I first saw the ad he said it had a small crack near the BB, just give it a check over mate aha
  23. I saw this on Pinkbike, I was thinking about buying it until I read that the frame is cracked, how bad is it? Edit: Just looked at the ad again and it doesn't say anything about it being cracked, must of been a different bike.
  24. In my experience it's much more cost effective to buy a complete build rather than building one. I bought a full build Echo Lite for £280 which I reckon would cost over £400 to build from second hand stuff, especially considering that its in near new condition haha.
