  1. http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll...%22+trials+bike the onza t raptor frame is this worth the money?
  2. theya re just short arm shimano ones. They sit a bit far away from the bar. Ive set the adjustments to get them as close to the bar when sitting neutral, but they just dont suit me. Wanna find long arm levers that sit about an inch to an inch and a half away from the bar.
  3. the concept is great. and i agree with who ever said that groups should be arranged in the ride/locations thread. What would you offer though, because im guessing just some instructors on bikes coming to a field full of people wouldnt really provide a good area for training. You gonna bring some equipment like boxes and platforms and what not????
  4. its disks, and i like to have a wide grip on the handle bars, and my levers are just a bit too short to get a good grip with at least two fingers.
  5. A set of front forks for 24" wheel with disc mount. A chain tensioner and some longer brake levers. Ive got a budget of about £70. suggestions please.
  6. £15 off a mate lol. Gotta get new forks, a chain tensioner, a bash ring, shorter crank arms, new brake levers and a new pair of tires, so looks like ive got about £80 to spend to get it to where i want equaling a nice bike for £95. Cant be anything wrong with that seeing as ive just started.
  7. Its a stock sized frame. I couldnt tell you what one though because he stripped the paint off and sprayed it matt black.
  8. Thank you. I shall keep trying Ill try getting up to a bench near hear, seems to be about a foot high, think thats a nice bench mark to get to. They are fairly big, Im thinking they may come up as 24's because thats how big they are if you measure to the outside of the tire.
  9. Ive only been riding for three days and i thought the first thing i'd tackle, considering i can trackstand fairly well, is getting on the back wheel. Ive read trashzen and have watched those ryan leech clips on youtube and im having a bit of trouble. I can get the front wheel up and then put the brake on, but i cant seem to get the back to stay stood up. I think it may be down to not having the confidence to lean back enough, but when ever i get it up and the back brake on, i keep falling forward. Should i just try leaning back more, or is there something else that i might not be addressing??? Also, genral hints and tips to start out would be great. I can bunny hop about 4 inches so getting up curbs is no trouble, but how do i add hieght? Ive tried both with rolling and standing hops. I know the problem is technique, but what about my technique is wrong? (i shall try and get a vid of me riding, twill be a crappy camera phone job though) Also, something thats niggling me. Ive measured the rims and they seem to be a weird size. They are 11 inch from the centrer of the hub to the outer edge of the rim? What size does this make them?
