  1. The ISIS cranks come with a front freewheel, frame is koxx levelboss 68mm wide and original tryall BB bearings are on their way to fail, so I am after a cheap replacement untill I receive some proper stuff from abroad. Truvativ apparently has outside bearings but is there enough spindle length to fit cranks? this is the BB (are these even ISIS??): anyone using these?? thanks in advance!
  2. Hi everyone this is my new-old bike. Its a Koxx right? This Levelboss was sitting in this guys garage for a few years, he had bought it, tried it and said "I cannot do this!" so it is in mint condition as you can see from the pics. What do you think?
  3. Thanks for the help mate! I fixed it! The lockring did come loose, I took the freewheel apart, put some lube in it put it back together, all those tiny balls, pawls and everything, tack welded the darn lockring thing and now I can hop again life is good again!
  4. I need some help with my freewheel. I recently purchased a used koxx levelboss with mostly try-all parts on it and a ACS freewheel that i rode for maybe 5 hrs or so and after putting to much tension on the chain by taking one link out, it started to get stuck, if you know what I mean. It did not jam completely but it kinda moves hardfer than before. I guess my bearing is damaged. This happened suddenly and after that i did not try to "force it loose" or anything... I just left the bike as it is. I read through some of the stuff here on the forum, and I might be missing something but is there any site you could recommend for some general info on freewheels, dimensions and specs and if anyone attempted to do a "overhaul" of the freewheel, or is that even possible? Tutorials and stuff, you know... I like to do my own repairs if at all possible... Now I know I am going to have to replace it with a new one, but since there are no trials specific stores here in Serbia, I would like to be able to ride my bike while I wait for a new freewheel to get here from abroad, it could be weeks before it gets here. Any help will be greatly appreciated... It crossed my mind I could maybe use a BMX freewheel? Are these even compatible with try-all cranks? Rotation direction? Thread the same? P.S. Sorry if I spelled something wrong, English is not my native language you know..
  5. I appreciate all the nice things you guys say about my steed, needless to say I like it very much too... Its a Hungarian made Magellan Tucana 2007 with Magura mounts. These are really cheap compared to zoos and koxxes. Eastern Europe and Russian riders use these quite a lot! I put it together from what I could scrounge here in Serbia, so there are basically no trials specific parts on it (except hs33?). It works for me, I am a hard head beginner so no huge drops to rail or anything fancy like that... ...as for the bass guitar it is not a Warwick mate, but a custom made 5 string Illiani bass, made by my good friend and a Luthier for quite a few years now... I play some jazz-rock fusion thing on it with my band Jazzitet - you can check it out on the Youtube if you care. cheers
  6. update from page 27 of this topic: I've cut the seatpost and put new brakes and boosters, stops a little better now! What say you? What would you change on it to make it more trialsy (except for the seat offcourse, I don't think I'm ready to give it up yet) I have one question for you lads: I was thinking about getting a DMR revolver SS rear hub, and some freewheel for it. Are revolvers any good for trials abuse? I am kinda short on financing can not afford a king or anything so expensive... If DMR is out of the question what hub/freewheel combo would you suggest for a budget shopper like me? P.S. This is the second shitmano deore hub i ve wasted in 6 months... I weigh 80kgs...
  7. Hi everyone, my name is Micha i live in Serbia and this here is my new so very pimp bike : ...now before you all rip me to pieces for posting these pics I should say that i just started learning some trials moves and am not very good at it still, but I wanted to get something trialsy that is also nice for occasional street riding (hence the seat so high, relatively high - BB to seat 15 inches)... these Hungarian frames are quite cheap but they give quite a lot for the money, they are for beginners such as me off course... I built it myself and I take pride in it... Built and trued the wheels, made the bash out of some white plastic (this local machinist claims it is very durable), put a maggie on its back and some cheepo vees on the front wheel, and off I go!! your comments?
