    I've got just your standard bike shop foam grips. Just cut them down and stick then on with a light spray of hair spray for extra stick. I've had mine for ags now and haven't really worn down atall, and they save blisters too.

    I've never done it but i would imagine they would tie some string or something to the end of the hose, so it drops further down than the hose and then you can pull it through. I imagine it's rather tricky.
